What stuck me about the room is the dealers and staff. I like your idea about limit games and they kept calling 2/4, but the dealer was "dead spread" at the table. I've played there before but couldn't remember exactly where the room was. I had to wonder around asking directions more than once. I never saw a sign, but I came in on the wrong elevator. Some employee felt sorry for me and walked me to the room. There were enough people in that casino to keep a 2/4 running, and they were announcing the game through out the casino. I think, however, that people actually need to be able to see the game to jump in if they're not there for poker.

Dover Downs PR is trying to get a stud game. Any one who wishes to play come to the poker room on the third floor first and third saturday of the month.

I like to play 10/20 limit. Hope some players show.

Do they ever get a 2/5 NL game at this place? I play at Delaware Park which has to be one of the best 2/5 games around but I can only imagine how soft the game is Dover would have to be.

Is anyone thinking about playing in the Summer Poker Open at Dover? It starts July 8th and runs through the following weekend.

I will be going Dover tomorrow 7/3/11. Any chances they will have 3-6 limit or low limit stud games there?

I've only visited a couple times on Sat/Sun. You'll find a somewhat weaker than run of the mill $1-2 NLH. If that's too boring for you, craps and blackjack are available. Never noticed 7CStud, O8, or anything other than NLH, $2-4 LHE, and low limit tourneys.

I considering it . . .

Any thoughts on the over/under for the weekend NL events?
How about the weekday stud and o/8? Will the limit events get more than like 40 runners?

Does anyone know how many entries there were to the 6-max tournament on Sunday for the Summer Open?

I tried to make it down but couldn't.

Would like to know in case it runs again.

Is the 2/5 buyin limits the same as Del Park (1000 max)? Doesn't sound like it runs too often here...

How is that possible???? I know who got 5th he said he got his money back. They wanted to chop. I heard 100people 280=28000 casino takes 25% = 7000 so 21000 is the amount left and 21000-17000= 4000 left over for players...

Bike was worth 17000. Then if he takes cash should be 7000 for players....

I used to be a regular at this casino it's 5 min from
My house I drive the extra 45 minutes for Delaware park.

So about 15500/28000 that was shoveled into it by players. Almost 50% to casino.

There were 81 players. They wanted to chop, but someone has to declare winning first place and the $14,000 no matter what. The one guy wanted to take $10,000 and have the other player declare that he won which is obviously beyond dumb so they played it out and he ended up losing.

My friend was the guy who ended up winning. Had a 3-1 chiplead going to heads up before losing 22 to 66 and TT to AK. Then the chop stuff happened and once they started playing again he won AK vs KQ and ended up winning when the guy just called AK preflop and check shoved the jack-high flop. My friend had QJ and held up.

Any one have details on the deal between Dover and MGM? I have an MLIFE Gold card . . . Can I use that at Dover? Thanks.

Can anyone comment on the poker room at Dover (I know Dover has its own thread . . . but I got no response). I love the room at Del Park; but, the rest of the casino is depressing. I'm considering taking the drive to Dover instead just in case I feel like fueling my video poker addiction after hitting the poker room. At the same time, I don't want to hit Dover if the poker room is depressing. . .

Also, I know Dover has a partnership with MLIFE. Any one know if you can actually use your MLIFE card at Dover.

Thanks in advance.
