Anthony (or layemdown or other players that happen to be in the room), could we please have a game update whenever you get a chance?

I'm particularly interested in what games typically run on Thursdays and Fridays in the early afternoon and evenings, especially LHE, O8, PLO, and mixed games. Thanks!

Demand a tip/consulting fee! He can afford it, he's getting that huge mod salary!

The room doesn't get particularly crowded until about 8 PM on Fridays and runs at about 3/4 capacity on Thursday nights. That means they may have mixed games or may not. This weekend might be an exception today/tomorrow as it is a holiday weekend. There is almost always a 1/2 PLO game that plays very large on Friday nights..... everyone see's a flop and many pot bets. I tried to get a pineapple game going last Friday and Saturday, but was not able. At about 10 PM last Friday, they started a 5-10 Horse game and there is usually an interest list for that each weekend. The 3/6 horse game participants seem to be upset with the dollar ante issue on stud/razz it might not get going because of it. But, they have spread it many Friiday's in the past.

The 150.00 noon tournament last Saturday brought in about 50 runners and Sunday, something less than that. That tournament might affect "the normal" games Saturday and Sunday as players bust. They will always spread on Fridays 2/5 max 1000, 1/2 min 100 and max 300, 3/6 limit and probably two tables of "off norm" games. My hope is that the tournament room brings in other players, but we won't know what games will spread as a result of that for another month.

They seem to have a lot of interest in sit n go's with 45.00 buy ins in the week and 85.00 on the weekends. Very fast, just like the Borgata or anywhere else. But, they annouce them across the casino/race floor so I think they're getting some new players on the felt.

I know you come from Nova. The room floor's seem to have no trouble with I call and ask about interest lists. I do it all the time and simply ask "do you have an interest list for 08, horse", or whatever. They'll always give me an honest update on what they expect to run. The live update can run behind, but if a mixed game is up there and running, chances are it will keep going. 302-355-1050.

I'm not sure where Anthony has been, but surely busy with all the arrangements for his new room. The "live game" report shows only the "usual suspects" with 1/2 and 2/5 and a 3/6 limit on the board as of 2 PM.

Thanks very much. It looks like Friday mid- or late-afternoon might be the sweet spot for me to get there and get on some interest lists before the room fills up.

More than usual, the Friday I95 issue will be bad as people make their way both north and south for the weekend.

It took an hour and a half to restart the games and about 3 to pay everyone. The holdup on the games was waiting on security to verify every player at every table. The rest was easy, the bravo system did everything. People that didn't have cards were issued cards and swiped in so bravo could do its job.

Obviously. It won't be this Friday, but hopefully sometime before the end of October I'll be able to get up there. I'll try not to fold hands that contain 4's in them.

You can get a live game report off the Delaware Park website... go to the table games tab and click on "live game report" for the poker room.

Link for those (i.e. all of us) too lazy to follow your simple and accurate instructions.

Also - I'll be there tomorrow from 11am-ish until 4:30pm-ish if anyone wants to say hi. I'll have a black baseball cap on and a black jacket with a red number 2 on the front.

No mall this time. It's out to Lake Anna Virginia for water skiing, water volley ball, jet ski's, good food and family fantasy football draft. I think I'd rather play poker. What's that say about me

I'll be going to DP tomorrow (Sat) evening after watching Notre Dame's kickoff game. Looking to finally play some HORSE. Does a game usually go on Saturday?

Lefty - GO IRISH!!!!!!!!! (I'm a 1988 grad.)

I will be going to DP on either Sunday or Monday. Saturday is reserved for football watching. After our game I'll be too excited/depressed to play good poker.

I'll be there at 6PM today. Went to Dover Downs last night and put up a TR on that thread. Interesting...... live game report at 1PM today listed 12 tournament tables and 8 cash tables. Even now, they're still running 6 tournament and 14 cash tables, three hours after the 11:00AM started. They must have had 150 runners for that thing today.

Live Game Report

AS OF 2:24 pm ON 09-03-2010
TBLS Limit Game
[8] $1-$2 NO LIMIT Hold Em
[3] $2-$5 NO LIMIT Hold Em
[3] $3-$6 Hold Em

[6] Tournament Table

I'm going to call over and put my name on 3/6 horse and 3/6 limit Pineapple at about 5PM. Also, as they only have 20 tables, they must be playing a list today so we should all call ahead to play tonight.

At the room right now... there is a 2-5 NL Pineapple going. And they had 146 runners for the tournament.

3 way chop today, which i think was about 1800 each. 154 runners in the game.

Just left DP and the room is running full. Lists were not too bad. A few things. They spread 2/5 NL Pineapple, 6/12 limit, 5 10 N/L and 1/2 PLO in addition to the usual games tonight. The new dealers ALL seem like they're experienced coming mainly from AC. They are hiring many more dealers to get the tournament room going to draw as many area players as they can. I can't tell the difference between AC and DP in quality of dealers and floor. I took a walk into the new room which is hidden behind the curtain in the race book area. They will have their own bar in the room, cashier's cage and restrooms all inside the room. The plan is to use it as a tournament room and for cash games only when they have overflow. Possibly, if it all works out for them and is what they want it to be, they will have the chance to take over the rest of the second floor race book to get all the games (tournament and cash) together. It's September 3 and the structures are all in place. Surveillance eyes are in the ceiling, bar is built (for the most part), the room has brick accents and over looks the paddock area for the race players. It looks great.

I won't talk about my play tonight, folded kk against a draw which I misread as a set or flopped two pair and let a big hand slip away. Went on tilt and....well, you guys have all been there. I'm away till Monday. Lots of action on my table which I was not able to take advantage of. Maybe log a few hours Monday, but out of town all week in Indianapolis. I'll check out the room there I'm sure.

I was there for about five hours last night and I think the dealers are getting a lot better. There are still some better than others but all in all it is really improving. It's a shame Jimmy and Sabrina are going to be full time supervising beacause they are great dealers. I also like Sully and Christan although she always works the board on weekends (not sure why) but when she deals during the week she does a good job. All in all I think Anthony and his gang have done a great job and have made my playing expirience alot more enjoyable.

ND vs. Purdue is more of a nail-biter then I'd like; got to watch to the end. Heading to DP in a few minutes to see about some 3-6 HORSE. I'll grind some 3/6 LHE or 1/2 NL while I wait. I'll be the guy with a shamrock card protector if any 2+2ers want to say 'sup bro.
