I played with him about a month ago. I sucked out on him by making a flush with some garbage, but later he got revenge by rivering a set of kings to my set of 7s. It was an interesting experience to play with a micro-celebrity.

Eventually, the floor opened a second 08 game and the limit HE game soon broke. They had 3 HE 2/4 games spread with a list, but 4/8 LHE isn't drawing players nearly as well as 08. Is it the 2/4 game (3) or 08 that's killing the 4/8 LHE game.
I was there today too, but I played exclusively 1/2NL. I can't speak for others, but the half rake did affect my decision to play 4/8 sometimes as a change of pace. I considered doing that today, but the game didn't look that healthy, the rake is now full rake, and I was running hot at 1/2

I'm guessing the main factors are 4/8 08 players as well as fewer NL players like me playing the occasional limit game now that full rake is back.

Saw the HORSE was running while catching a late snack at Legends, but never got closer than #6 on the list, so called it a nite just after midnight. Oh well, gutters and strikes, maybe next Sat.

The 4-8 ran today, but no HORSE or O8. Was 6 handed when I left at about 9.

I went up Sunday to play 4/8 ... something. Around 3:00, first they called the 4/8 O/8 since there were about 8 or 9 on the list - but only me and one other guy showed up. Then they called the 4/8 LHE game, and again, the same 2 of us showed up. We waited a few hours and around 5:00, we did finally get the LHE game started - it ran until 11:00pm, mostly at 5 or 6 handed. It was a lot of fun to play some 6-max LlHE, which I hadn't done in a while (not since April 15th).

The room did a great job working to get the game going and to keep it running - finding another player or two several times when we got down to 3 or 4 handed. Thanks.

Just started coming back last month and only been playing the 2/5 game this month. Hopefully get enough hours for the freeroll.

What's the total number of players usually in the freeroll? I remember reading a post a ways back that they changed the rules to no deal making til the final table or something?

Just looking for any freeroll information really from the regulars usually there. Thanks a lot for any info.

Mark

I was in the game from about 6:30 or so up to 9:00. I was in the 6 seat with the Grand Canyon hat. Were you sitting just to my right?

40 hrs to get a seat. 3 PM on August 9. About 175 to 190 runners. 21 to 30 pays $250. 11 to 20 pays $500. Final table plays for $17,500 and can't chop until 10.

How long did it take? I was thinking of playing that on Sunday but a two hour rebuy period sounded ridiculous.

Grats on the finish.

I think i was at your table. I was in the 1 seat where I had AA against your 10 10 and we chopped on a 2 3 5 4 6 board. Were you the one in the Pirates jersey?

Haha yes that was me...I had forgotten about that hand! I'm struggling to remember much else about that table now. I think I was in the 3 or 4 and Mr. Humphries was in 5 or 6. I can't picture your face well, but I seem to remember that you clearly knew what you were doing but couldn't get the cards to fall your way (case in point: getting it in good against my TT and only chopping). I think when I lost with my 7s that started a long cold stretch at the table for me, but I'm not too sure...

While up there a few weeks ago, my wife and I went to Domaine Hudson Wine Bar in Wilmington for dinner. OMG, that was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. It was phenomenal. Highly recommended if you're up that way.

How long does it take to get from Rehoboth to Delaware Park? I'll be vacationing there next week and want to check out the room. I'll probably head there on Tue or Wed night. What game choices can I expect from 8pm to 1am? Will the 4/8 O8 go a that time? Thanks in advance.

08 may be on the board. Certainly it will run in front of 4/8 LHE, which doesn't like to run during the week. On Tuesdays, free seats to tournaments are given away between 9-10A M, 1-2 PM and 7 -8 PM. There should be 11 or 12 tables going, but the 08 game is hit or miss. Start a list one hour before you arrive on the phone by calling them at 302 355 1050. (about 20 miles south of Dover) http://www.delawarepark.com/directions.php

It's about 90 miles and takes you directly past the Dover De room. That room is much slower and will only have 1/2NL spread on Tuesday with three or four tables. MAYBE a 2/5, but doubtful.

Post another message here when you decide which night you want to play O8. It will help the chances of O8 players showing. Most of the DP O8 players read this.

OK, if anyone wants an O8 game tonight then I'll be there. I was there last week and played like a huge fish. I'll play 4-8 but am willing to play higher. Does 10-20 ever go on weekends?

Also interested in PLO.
