The "Coverall Board" is located near the cage in the present tournament room on the wall. Looks good and well made wood (expensive) so I believe the coverall promotion is planned to be an ongoing thing.
As of today, there are about 25 people already registered for the "bracket challenge" for March 16. I'll probably go over Monday or Tuesday and get mine just so I know I have it. I already scheduled something that is irreversible with work so that I have all of Tuesday night 3/16 and Weds 3/17. My plan is to pull an all night-er. I've had conflicting answers about wild cards. Today I was told that if you bust in round one, and you are still there in round two, three and four that your name is eligible to move on. Therefore. bust in round one and play in round four. I thought the raffle drum would have only the names of players who busted in the previous rounds. I'll look for clarification on that one.
I was looking for some answers on the Bracket Challenge Friday night...
-In regards to the Wild Card, I was told that if you bust out, then you're pulled as a wild card entry into another round, your name is removed from the barrel and you are no longer eligible to be a wild card entry in future rounds (I asked because on paper, it appears that you could conceivably lose every table you play in, but still make it to the finals through wild card entries).
-Everyone playing in the BC (320 players) will have an entry to the Venetian DSE raffle.
-At about 3am Friday night, I was entrant 14 to the BC, but was told there were only 140 open seats. They couldn't tell me whether the other 180 seats were being held for "celebs" or sats, or whether those seats were actually locked up.
There still seems to be a little confusion amongst the floor to these rules, but again, should be a good time and I think it will fill up.
