I've asked several of the poker room staff about it and they said they didn't know when it is going to close for now it's still up and running like normal except they ended rakeback bucks at the end of June.

Poker is most definitely still happening at Dejope (Ho-Chunk) Madison. Omaha games have also been running quite regularly.

$0.50/$1.00 PLO Hi/Lo on Wednesday evenings

$1.00/$2.00 PLO on Saturdays (especially 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month after Omaha Tourney)

I understand you can play the slot-bingo games at 18, but can you play poker at 18? I'm a UW student looking for somewhere to play. If I can play here I may look into it. Otherwise if someone knows of a game/wants to start one, shoot me a pm and we could get something going.

Just came back from dejope (now called HoChunk Madison). I went there looking for a cash game and was disappointed when I got there and there were exactly zero people playing.

I talked to the floor man (pit boss?) and he said that it is because of the recent legal battles that the HoChunk tribe has been having with the sate of WI and also because they don't have any good specials to reel folks in (I think it's more the legal battle). He said some folks were even afraid to come back and get their money off of their accounts for fear the state or doj or somebody would come and raid the joint. Folks are scared of this much more now after bf

You're doing it wrong. Call ahead at 1-888-248-1777 and inquire as to what games are running. 90% of the time at lease one game of no-limit is being spread.

Any one for PLO tonight? Hi or Hi/lo is fine by me. See you there.

Update:
A federal judge overruled the arbitrators ruling from the summer so poker will be allowed here for awhile the fight might not be over yet.

Too rich for my blood as of late. About nine months back there were zero games when tourneys didn't run, can't remember which days they don't run and it may have changed.

Ho Chunk Madison now has a bad beat jackpot. It has been around for a couple weeks and is currently at a little over $7K.

It's Aces full of Jacks beaten by quads or better, you have to use both whole cards. The game is supposed to be programmed to stop when it hits. $1 is taken from any pot over $20 with at least 5 players at the table and 0.75 goes into the main jackpot with 0.25 going into the secondary jackpot.
