Hey guys looking for some travel advice and figured this was the place. Few questions and sorry for my naivety on the subject. A friend of mine are looking to travel to New Orleans as we have never been. We both play poker and would like to stay at or close to a casino, how far are they from New Orleans and the "New Orleans experience"? Are there multiple around? How far are they from the airport. Any help is greatly appreciated, feel free to post answers or pm me.

There's Harrahs in the heart of downtown, 20 min cab from MSY airport.

Hello. I may be in the New Orleans area the first week in March. I called Harrah's and was informed that they have an everyday 4-8 limit hold "em game.

What is the rake?
Do they drop a BB in addition to the rake?

If you want to comment on how good the game is go ahead, but I can make that determination for myself as well.

Yo all, Im in NOLA for the week and will be posting tons of pics on my PG & C thread. Not much poker talk as Im on a month time-out from playing, but stopped in Harrahs today and will be back there in a few days so if anyone wants any info please ask and Ill do my best to get it.
