Word around the room is that the guy who "hosts" the 10/25 game was complaining that the 5/5/10 took players from that game. He whined to Hayden so they stopped the 5/5/10 and added the deep stack.
Another awful decision in a series of bad decisions. I liked playing 5/5/10, as it was a great game. It plays bigger than 2/3/5 yet isn't anywhere close to 10/25. Its a logical middle ground between the 2 games.
10/25 has a distinct player pool. Its much too big of a game for most players, and the 5/5/10 is a good game for those that want a step up from 2/3/5. Making that a deep stack does nothing.
How in the hell is this a good thing?? This game doesn't play that much bigger at all. I've seen extreme nittiness in the game, with no action. Watched from the rail for a bit, and wasn't inclined to play it in the least. Yeah, its really awesome.
