Yes they have always paid out more than that. Prolly a typo or something.

Sounds like a standard "Guaranteed payouts are not guaranteed" clause.

The time is NOT predetermined. It is the end of the fifteenth round OR ten percent of the field, whichever comes first.

One more. Do they collect your stack if you show up late or will you just get blinded off one at a time?

yes... buy a ticket if you can. From the window they're $1080, but from someone else they're anywhere between $800 to $1k. I bought mine for 900

If you have bought a ticket, you will be blinded off. If you show up late without having purchased a seat, you may get the full stack but, you also may get shutout.

Just moved to the phoenix area recently (west valley). Played at Wild Horse last night and had a good time.

Which casino is better in the area for low stakes nl? I'll likely be doing the majority of my play on fri/sat evenings. Also no craps???

Casino AZ at Indian Bend and Gila River which you've been to are the only reliable places to find a game. Casino AZ will have a much larger selection of games, but Gila River has the smaller 100 max bet game.

Craps is not part of the tribal compact. But I think they have some weird electronic version they call a slot machine.,

Hey all, just have a few questions about the tournaments at Talking stick. Looking to jump back into some mtt action. Can anyone let me know how many runners their usually are, prize structure, blind structure, etc etc. Would appreciate it. The 2 tournaments I am looking at mostly are:

-End of the Month No-Limit Hold'em Tournament $125+$25
3,500 chips $10 = 2,500 chips $5 keno ticket = 1,000 chips
11:15am

-Big Stack No-Limit Hold'em Tournament $300+$30
10,000 chips $15 = 3,000 chips
11:15am

Also any other info on the dailys would be awesome. Thanks.

End of the Month is usually in the 400 range. They sometimes have a long line of alternates, up to 100 deep. So get there early.

Big Stack is usually in the 250 range.

Thanks for your reply. Been a long while since I played any decent live tournaments. Am I right to assume the rake is 25/125 = 20%? With the $10 just going to dealers. Also, if there are 400, that would put the prize pool at 50k. Is first usually 25% of prize pool? Also talking sticks website said if over 150 top 20 paid. If it hits 400 it stays at top 20? Sorry for all the questions, thanks in advance!

They pay 10% rounded up to the next multiple of 5. So in the Aug eom sat tourney there were 435 runners & they paid 45. The Sept eom game had 380-something and they paid 40.

Yes, the $5 keno is worth another 1k. So max chipstack is 7k as you outlined in an earlier post.

20mins for 5 levels but then goes to 30mins after that.

As you can imagine, with 400ish, there are plenty of both pretty good and pretty poor players.

I enjoy this tourney- the best around in its price range imo.

Everyone glance over the menu because it has changed. For example, the pasta now includes leafy thingies.

Yep, I've had the Sliders and Gyro off the new menu.

The gyro is average to below average for a gyro, but its messiness makes it a bad pick to eat at the table.

The sliders were average, but some of the menus say there are 3, and I've seen it ordered twice, and both times only two came. So just an FYI.
