20/40 mix at mgmnh can include all those games. Otherwise, you can go to to Florida/gulf coast to get that type of action.

Do you no longer get tier credits for poker??? It seems like the last dump was at the end of January and that was for play at the end of December and part of January!

I haven't seen anything for the rest of January or February's play yet!

Anyone else notice this?

I asked about this last time I was transferring my comps Sunday morning (3/3). Was told it's being done manually, in batches, by a team in Vegas, it gets done when it gets done usually every few weeks or as long as a month. I also haven't had anything updated for last week of January through present. Seems like we just have to wait until they get around to it

I heard something similar and it is usually at the end of the month, whereas it used to be every 2-3 weeks. But the last one was sometime at the end of January and it's already a week into March!

And, a slot player was saying something about them doing away with tier credits altogether for poker and possibly even table games and only giving them for slots and money spent at the property. Not sure if I believe that though.

But hey, they did cut the amount earned for spend in half a year or so ago. You used to get 8x tier credits for every dollar spent, now you only get 4x.

Do you get tier in Vegas at bellagio and aria? I don’t remember seeing any change in tier points on my account when I was there last.

You don't earn ANY tier credits for poker at any MGM property. The only exception is Borgata. Hope they're not going to go the way of their other properties but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. And there will be a lot of pissed off Borgata players if they do!

I didn’t know MGM cut tier credits for poker at their other properties, but knowing that and knowing it’s been 5-6 weeks I’d guess we’re just waiting on bad news. I wonder if they’ll even announce it formally

I didn't realize that either. I'm pretty sure I used to get tier credit for playing at Bellagio in the past. I'll be there again in a few weeks, and I'm at 0 TC as of right now, so hopefully I'll be able to test it out a bit to be sure. Might just be a little difficult to separate out any poker credits from TC from hotel spend and whatnot.

You do get credit for poker play in Vegas, but they base it on your total hours played, so it's not truly "tier credits earned" like a set amount. I could swear one of the properties with a poker room had the breakdown listed somewhere (I thought I saw in in the Bravo app) but for the life of me I can't find it anywhere now!

BTW, I've played at MGM National Harbor and never received any tier credits there and someone just confirmed that over in their thread.

IIRC, in Vegas, you would track your hours played and a supervisor would confirm them via Bravo and when you reached a certain number of hours played, they would give you the attained status, whether it be Pearl, Gold or Platinum. I even remember it being something like you only needed maybe 100 hours to get Pearl and like 300 or 400 hours to get Gold. At Borgata, in years past, you would have needed around 670 hours of just poker to get to Gold. I think their formula is something along the lines of 112.5 tier credits per hour played.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.

In the past at Borgata it was 75 tier credits for every comp dollar earned, so 112.5/hr of 1/3 , 150/hr of 2/5 or 5/10

No, and that's a good thing. You don't have the $2 coming out of each hand, with a disproportion number of winners coming out of the low fixed limit game (featuring mostly players who are there playing just for that and the bad beat).

Hey guys,
Do you know if Borgata started matching Caesars tiers again? I have Diamond Elite there if it matters. Also, if Borgata does not currently do it, do Vegas MGM properties do a tier match like that (I will be there for about a week during WSOP)?
