Define "sucks".

I believe Borg means that service and quality of the facilities has fallen off big time compared to what it used to be like. Which it definitely has. Ask the dealers, the waiters, and the staff... Morale is suffering

Anyone know what the 10-25 mix currently going is? Seems like a weird limit for limit games so I’m assuming it’s NLH/PLO or some other non limit games

The 10-25 mix that generally starts Saturday mornings, is usually 10-25 NL and 10-10-20 PLO.

Is that still a private game?

lazy workers with an aura of giving exactly zero ****s. way too many horrible dealers.
cage closed randomly.
nobody working the front podium.
can't call in to get on lists.
bigger games basically dead.
plo above 2/2 dead.
food worse than it used to be.
dumb ass system where instead of comps going on your card automatically like they did for 18ish years you have to find a supervisor to manually put them on your card.
from what I understand 2/5 nl is way nittier than parx but I would rather sleep on the boardwalk than play nl these days so I can't personally say if that's true or not.

in ac you really don't have any other good option but parx has taken a lot of their business.

If I log in to borgata.com & try and book for this weekend, I can ONLY book a Fiore suite.
If I don't log-in, I can book a much cheaper standard room.
What's going on?

My assumption is the pool of available rooms is segregated between loyalty pools and regular non-signed in account. I regularly see MGM NH nightly fees of $15k because only the presidential suite is leftover for MGM members.

Returning to Borgata for first time since 2019 (kids, changed jobs, pandemic, etc).
Previously was able to book free weekend rooms due to quarterly visits based on poker play (40/80 for 15+ hours per trip).
Currently no good room rates for a Saturday night - what is best strategy to get comp or more likely better rate? Is there any way to leverage prior play?

Thanks

Sorry but free rooms for poker players have disappeared since the MGM takeover.

Yeah, it has returned to being a problem. Last winter things seemed to loosen up for a bit before drying up for the entire summer, but this winter has been awful since Dec, at least for me.

Seemingly your only semi-reliable pathway is to degen it up in slot or table games.

Winter before covid poker players were still getting comps in many cases but I haven't heard of any good news on that front since, and to be honest a lot of people who seemed to be playing as much as me in the same games weren't getting comps that winter so I don't know what else factors in. They've said distance from casino wasn't a factor and I don't play table games or spend money anywhere really to have warranted me getting that treatement

I like the limit games at borg but no rooms has made a big difference for me. I may go a couple times a year now where previously I might go every 6-8 weeks for a weekend. It was good while it lasted.
