I play in plenty of games where all stacks get dealt to, whether the player is in their seat or not. The dealer simply snap mucks their hand if they're not in their seat when it's time to act.

Most private games in NYC are like this, for example. Never slows the game down at all.

room was packed sat night but not the spread i expected.

i got to the poker room around midnight and was told there were no 10/25 games and only 4 people were on the list.

there were 5 or 6 5/10 games though which is nice, but they were all basically "main games" so instead of filling tables a bunch of them were running 4-6 handed.

all in all i had a good time though, as is usually the case @ borg.

i didnt go on the list because i didnt want to play shorthanded and was only staying for 4 hours or so. i was expecting multiple 10/25s to be running since it was sat night + bbj excitement so it was slightly disappointing. i had a good time at 5/10 though.

at one point a 7th (or 8th) guy wanted to play but there was some kind of issue regarding his ability to buy chips or something? i didnt hear the whole story - just that he wanted to play but they wouldnt sell him chips. he ended up sitting down at my 5/10 but i left soon after so im not sure how that played out.

Thats an awesome hand, they probably both got it all in on the flop, 1000:1 to make 300k. I guess the 87 had the right odds to call
