Weird to see everyone who wanted Vinny back and shitting on the new woman. I thought everyone didn't like Vin?

Ah, gotcha. I didn't realise low-limit had gone away after that.

Vinny was coasting to retirement. She’s motivated. If people want the big events back a little less whining and working with her to demonstrate to upper management that these will be profitable is the best bet.

Well, I figured it out ... was just checking Bravo again and apparently the 2/4/6 limit game that they are spreading is now ELIGIBLE for bad beat jackpot and high hand promotions.

Wonder what caused that change? Hmmmm

No, he was the old Poker Room manager for several years. I certainly wish Kellie luck! I miss the days of Stan being active on here. Long live Ruler of the East!

This new 2-4-6-12 game is a real hoot. No one bets their hand on the River lol. 6 instances in a half hour a player has the stone cold bagels last to act and it gets checked back lol

Perhaps this is all just to counter the old Pink Chip game that has been somewhat revived at Harrah's?

Nothing can ever compare to the original game at the old Tropicana poker room, but it's cool to see attempts to get similar games going lately!

I think it's great what Harrhah's is doing overall with those special games is great, if they can get butts in the seats. I was gonna take the bus down to AC today to play hi/lo but I'm not feeling great, and it looks like I am going to have to work tomorrow in NYC. But it will eventually draw me and friends of mine to play, for sure

I also loved the Trop Pink game back in the day.

What’s the structure for this game? Fixed limit at that value pre/flop/turn/River or spread limit on the individual streets?

It's the only 10/20 game spread anywhere on the east coast as far as I know.

Game is sporadic on Fridays and Saturdays. It can break suddenly then start up again. Getting there early in the AM is your best shot at a decent session.

It's a shame as I used to play in it for a few years; it's a gateway game to the middle limits so its importance shouldn't be overlooked. I hope it gains new players but that's a long shot.

it was my favorite game whenever I was down there which was a bunch of times a year pre-pandemic. have been a couple of times since and was lucky to play at least short-handed for a few hours, but not with anyone I remembered playing with before.

pre-pandemic, I remember it got to the point where a bunch of the regs were openly scheduling it as a home game right at the tables bc they didn't like the way they were being treated by Borg. For a much as I was down there, I never really understood their complaints. But I guess they managed to poach enough guys.

I check Bravo regularly. hope it makes a comeback too

Tab was the tournament director when Stan was running the room (and stayed on for some time after Stan left and Vinny took over).

Thx and no wonder I don’t know Stan as I never played Poker Cash Game in my life ever.

I still believe MGM Borgata should and must bring back Tab !
