re: Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa (Atlantic City, NJ) -- FAQ added 2013.04.04

This thread is 188 pages at this point and is a lot to read for someone like myself trying to just get some general information about the Borgata. I'm considering making a trip to AC for the first time and I'm told the Borgata is the one and only place to go. Is there any chance someone could make a FAQ and attach it to the OP just like the Foxwoods thread here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...00&postcount=1

In the mean time I'm just trying to get some general info on which non NLHE games run regularly, IE PLO, O8, LHE, R,S,E, 2-7, etc, and at what stakes. Do these typically run mixed or solo?

Does the same rule apply at Borgata, or can poker-only players use a credit line? Since cash machines usually have a $1000/day max withdrawl, a credit line could get me around those rare occasions where I get the "ATM Heisman" and have to wait until 12:01 to get more money out
The credit lines are clearly termed as not for the racebook or poker.

They will open up the credit lines, but if there is not appropriate table/slot play tracked, they will close them eventually.

"Eventually" for me was a $3000 line for about 3 years. That included one second-chance re-opening.

I did play maybe 15 hours of Pai Gow Poker (and 30 hands of 3-card Poker) over that time but they sort of realized the interest-free loans were not really working out as they intended.

Its so hard to resist going down tommorow and trying to hit the BBJ I dont even play NL but goddamn 600k is insane. hoping to get down for the weekend at least. as for the line of credit as the previous poster mentioned unless you do significant table action they won't accomadate you. Usually after a poker session I head to the craps or blackjack tables and play pretty big numbers but for a short duration and aside from match play I havent seen such great offers that differ from the regular incredible service stan provides, but I think that has more to do with the limited time playing rather than the larger bets. would be nice to have a credit line tho..dangerous but nice

Just got the "Borgata Bad Beat hits $11 million email" and I was about to cry. Can't make it down to the weekend, so I'm glad it to find out it was only the side bbj that hit!

Same here...I played 1/2 all night Monday until 6am Tuesday and went upstairs to sleep when the small jackpot hit. Wake up at 10a get showered and see an email at 11:20 with "Bad Beat Jackpot hits for over $11 Million" in the subject line...
gg Borgata lolol

Also, (shameless brag) took 5th in the 7PM tourney! How I play 5 hours and then brain fart AJ into an all but face up AQ is just a total mystery to me.
