I wonder if you can re-up your Blackcard on June 5th with Borgata's match of Caesar's Diamond/7stars if it's nowhere near expiring?
ie: I did my match back in Nov so the blackcard doesn't expire till 11/2018.
Does anyone know the conversion ratio of Borgata comp dollars to MGM Express Comps? Will it be 1 to 1?

My wife has a red card. She hardly ever uses it, choosing to add onto my card instead.

I checked her comps online, and she has the Fiore suite option. No comps for it, but still an option.

It doesn't pop up on mine when I'm logged in.

Can anyone in the thread confirm this? I called Borgata today and they did not have a specific date for the change over yet. It is suppose to happen in the summer season.

I saw 3 nights a week comped. Checked today, back down to 2 nights. Shagadelic, do you still have 3 nights?

I emailed, asking about the lack of the Fiore suite (as well as the other suites) on the website when I log in. After explaining a few times, and including screenshots, I was told via email

Unfortunately, poker players don’t qualify for suites and vistas. It would only be available at a reduced rate. You are in considered a poker player, that’s why you’re unable to book those room types.

I suppose if it looks like a special (to us) trip, I can call or email to see if there are discounted (I expect at least that) rates, or comped (a stretch for me) suites.

FWIW, my first inquiry into suite options was met with this response.

Quote:
Please know that complimentary room types are based on hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed. Our room comps are based our Classic and Club room rates and availability, whereas, our suite criteria is set by our Player Development department and at times only booked through our suite committee. You are always welcome to request for an upgrade on your reservations at the time of booking and based on your play through the casino we would book accordingly.

I played the $100K Saturday Series tourney yesterday and asked the tournament director personally about this (guy has a three letter first name that's the same as a diet soda, not sure if I'm allowed to post the name), and he said the changeover is happening "next Monday" but from context I took that to mean Monday May 1st. Whether or not that is good or bad info, I don't know, just saying that that is what he said and he sounded confident about it.

What I hope, and I guess will not happen because why should they, is that they do away with that obnoxious "2 for 1" comps thing in the Marketplace below the poker room and make it 1:1. I mean it's real money and I'll just go there less, unless I'm starving, and even then I'll just pay with the MLife credit card to get the 3X comp multiplier.

I believe they follow the community pool schedules i.e. "open memorial day weekend and closed after labor day"

Anyone get an email about comps turning into MLife credits?

Have no clue how it will work. Do we need to physically go to Borgata and present both out MLife and Borgata cards?

Yeah, got it yesterday. There's more info on the website, but not too much.

Changeover summer 2017. Benefits won't change. Everything will transfer. You can get M life Gold with Borgata Black. Comp Dollars will change name to Express Comps, slot play will earn points that can be turned into either Slot Dollars or Express Comps, and new Tier Credits will determine card levels. Marketplace stays 2:1.

If you have a Total Rewards Diamond card Borgata will upgrade you to Black right (before the changeover anyway)?

Thanks, do you know what happens if you already have a MLife account?

I'm going to the WSOP in early June and it'd be awesome to be able to spend my few hundred in comps at Vegas. Might make a trip to AC sometime this month to ask the Borgata reps.

This M life page says rewards will be combined.

https://www.mlife.com/en/faq.html

Somewhere I saw that you can currently use Borgata comps at other M life properties, but need to go to the rewards desk to make it work.

Used my nugget elite card to get harrahs diamond, brought diamond to borgata for black label. What Card should I anticipate having when the card switches to mlife. I was already a high red (gifts, slot tourneys, rooms, bingo, etc)
