How're the 2/5 players at borgata?ill be down there Saturday/Sunday. Been killing the 1/2 and 1/3 games, so I'm gonna take a shot and just see how I compare to the players at those stakes.

Borg 2/5 plays about as big as 1/3 in Harrahs Philadelphia (due to the same 500 max).

I got my "new" MLife card today from Borgata which of course was a different account number than my existing MLife account...did they do any cross-checking at all for that? Guess I'll have to rectify that next time I go down there.

Are the higher stakes games dead during WSOP? Looking on Bravo and the highest limits are 2/5NL this week. Same for Sands PA.

Deciding whether it's worth it to make a trip to Borgata in two weeks.

During the week this is pretty typical even during non wsop time. AC is a weekend town. I don't know how big you want to play or what games, but 5/10 NL is a regular game on Fri-Sun even during the series, and occasionally 10:20 will go. Big PLO seems to have slowed down since the series started, but should still have a good chance of 5/10.

And the really big mixed games are still running. Seen 150:300 stud as well as the 200/400 (I think) mixed running recently (again, on weekends).

I was told by the rewards boothing that
You must still earn at least $5 Express comps else you get $0 for the day for vp/slots.

$12.50 in Express comps needed for Access to the amphora lounge/buffet

I asked about 1/2 and was told you earn 112.5 tier credits per hour.

That sounds right IF we started earning Tier Credits around the beginning of May. And that'd make it 75 TCs per comp dollar.

The letter that came with my new card (delivered at home while I was at Borgata last Saturday) said they were giving me a bit over 13000 TCs for my play since October 1. Now I have a bit over 17000. That's too much to be just from last weekend (11.5 hours), but counting two 12-hour days in May, 4000/35.5 comes out about right.

Tier Credits haven't made it to theborgata.com yet, but mlife.com has the numbers. I'll probably be 6 hours or so short of Pearl by 9/30...but Pearl vs Sapphire doesn't add much, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Recent msgs imply people are able to see their acct info in the website. I keep getting an under construction type message when trying to register. Wondering if it is because i am using IOS? Any insights will be appreciated.

Was at the hotel yesterday and no one at m life desk admitted to anything other than This section of the site is a problem they hope to have fixed soon.

So how many hours of $1/2 does it take to get a room offer at Borgata these days? Back in the day if you played like 8 hours you got one but I know times have changed...

Not directly. You get one point and one Tier Credit per dollar spent (two for gas and supermarket, three at Mlife locations). Points can be converted to Express Comps (née Comp Dollars), which are what you need to pay for Amphora.

Is anyone else not seeing their Tier Credits be updated after playing poker at the Borgata?

I logged into MLife and looked at my tier credits prior to a 6 hour session.

Got home and checked after I finished playing; no dice.

A day later, no change.

Was playing 2-5 PLO so I'm a little surprised to see no uptick in my count.

If they're still having trouble bridging the gap between Borgata's existing systems and Mlife's existing systems, I wouldn't be surprised.

The old My Borgata site didn't fully register play immediately. I'd knock off at 5:30am or so and not see it completely updated until late that day or the next day. The comp dollar total or the black card progress would move; the last visit would always lag. If there's always been some delay in Bravo pushing info out to the larger MBR system, it'd make sense that there's further delay pushing it out another level that's not completely operational yet.
