Hey guys, how's the action looking given that the WPT sat's have been running and at the end of the week the WPT is coming to town? How are the tourney's doing? Planning on going there mid week-ish, not sure if i'm buying in or not to the ME. We should get talkin' about it amongst ourselves which will give us all hopefully even a sliver of advantage added...every little bit helps.

My buddy was there last weekend; he played in the 100k guaranteed, said Friday night the place was nearly at capacity and the cash games were great. I'm still pissed I didn't go. I'll be there this Saturday/Sunday; last time I went during WPT ME (End of April) I won quite a bit at 2/5. Hoping for the same.

I'd blame Hellmuth. That cold-blooded Wisconsinite probably spiked the HVAC guy with a couple bills to keep it at his Arctic-like temp.

I was there Saturday and Sunday, tons of action at 2/5 of course! I walked away up $1,700. My buddy busted out of the tournament 5 hours in, other two friends lost quite a bit at cash.

Saturday night late I sat at a 2/2 table for about an hour waiting on my friend. It was the most fun I had and totally pressure-free. Lost $50.

Saw lots of pros, never did see Hellmuth. I think he was hiding.

It seemed every night during the weekend several fights/almost fights broke out and the cops had to escort guys out. Saw one young guy, maybe angry drunk, resist while being physically removed while all the crowd laughed at him. Poor kid made a dumb move, assume he went to jail for it.

Yeah, the fight I witnessed happened around midnight or so Saturday, kid got escorted to cashier cage then out the door. We had a guy at our table who was trying his best to start a fight (drunk horrible player who kept losing and complaining there was no action) until the dealer told him to settle down. He ended up leaving, saying, "**** it, I'm going home to get laid and get drunk."

A buddy of mine left his 2/5 table last weekend after winning a couple dimes, was followed back to his hotel and robbed in the parking lot for around 3k. Just a heads up to people who play out there, it's a great room but make sure you're aware of your surroundings and be safe when you exit.

I've run into some characters there who went out of their way to let you know there would be trouble if you busted them. It's so ridiculous. And they almost always get busted. Never seen them so much as make a threat once they get felted for their $80. lol

Ya it's closed now. It is a shame, used to b great action. They ruined the place anyway when they remodeled it before the football season. It use to b the best place to watch all the NFL games. The room manager there was awful. I heard he's going to regency
