Last night. A drunk they were kicking out is believed to have set the fire in the downstairs bathroom. Their twitter says they be open later today. There was lots of smoke - probably from the plastic trash can burning or something. They evacuated but I dont think it spread

I noticed while i was @ BestBet Jax & BestBet OP, poker room looking like a full fledge casino with all the table games they have added recently, anyone care to comment on this?

It will be interesting to see what happens with that. They just lost a case in administrative court that said they were operating illegal banked games that they will likely appeal. But they also won a case for some kind of administrative rule challenge. I think its pretty clear those games aren't poker but it seems like no FL regulators/gov wants to do anything about it other than the Seminoles.

Event 1 Day 1A had 120something entrants. 300 BB starting stack seems like a good long structure. Weighing entering vs the opportunity cost of cash tables during the same time period.

What is the benefit if you are invited to be one of the 30+ celebrity $2,500 bounties with a target on your back? Do you get a discount from the $5,000 buy-in? Why does doublejoker get pissed off whenever he's not invited as a bounty?
