time charge @ 5/T is 9/half-hour now. Players seem to mostly not like it. ( I think it's good).

They seem to be trying to speed up the game, but with relatively bigger stacks and the relative newness of the game players are taking a lot to time to decide actions and count chips etc.

One guy had the clock called on him after a minute of thinking and the floor gave him a minute extra. It happened to someone else again an hour or so later and this time he got only 10 seconds ! As always Bay seems to struggle with consistency.....

I am in complete agreement with Pig4Bill. The lobby time charges should be on the small games where there is a lot of abuse of the 20minute time limit as well as the floor folks (especially Ben) not wanting to pickup their chips until 40-50 minutes have passed by.

At the bigger tables 20-40+, people are generally willing to play short handed and so having several people lobbying is less of a concern.

Anybody at Bay know when they are going to get new chairs for the entire room?

I was there and they moved us from the nice comfy side of the room to the ghetto side of the room.

The red chairs are just so uncomfortable that after a couple of hours of playing, I just left (I have nerve damage in my legs and bad chairs are extremely painful.)

I asked the floor if they had seat cushions and they said no, but that I could bring my own if I wanted.

Wow, way to keep it classy Bay 101.

There are some cushions knocking around here and there. They are the same red color. Maybe the bamboo things that all the dealers like to sit on would help.

I played there again yesterday. Asked 4 different floor people for a seat cushion and they said they don't have them.

They were very apologetic, I get the feeling they are asked about it alot. Same thing about getting more black chairs. The floor people all had no clue.

They got the black chairs a few months ago and just keep them on the high side of the room. Typical poker snobbery. Which is funny because i'm sure on a rake basis the lower staked games probably earn more money than the higher staked games. Plus, everywhere i've ever played, the lower staked games tip better than the higher staked games.

ironic

Based on a fairly small sample size, lobbying has not noticeably increased in the 20 since they stopped taking a lobby charge. I would have thought we were slightly better off with it, but now having seen the results, we're probably better off without it.

I need to work on reading comprehension. I looked at the schedule and thought, Man, those are tough times for me to get down to San Jose!

The live sats should be easier to play with the added tables. It wasn't fun to arrive at 6:25 AM for a 6:30 starting time only to find out they started at 6:15 because it was already full, and you are 30th alternate.

'Splain to them how making juice twice (on the sat entry and then again on the $2k entry) is good for them.

Hi Matt,

The satellites start in the early afternoon EST. Is it possible to schedule some a couple of hours later in the day for us west coasters?

FT has determined that no one on or near the west coast would want to play in a tournament on the west coast.
