Does TS have safety deposit boxes, if so how hard is it to get one?

Yes but the waiting list is crazy long.

Are the games at TSR any different during the WSOP?

of course all over the world,,, medium and high stakes games will be better. but likely somewhat harder to start or keep going when shorthanded.

Does anyone here play Omaha? Why can't we get a 2/3 Omaha game going? I only ever see 1 person on a interest list.

I would add my name to that but we're only allowed to be on three lists at a time. I don't want to waste one of mine on a game that's very unlikely to go.

When they moved the list to the hi limit board it basically killed the game. It wasn't going all that regularly before that but was getting some traction. I played it a few times but once it moved to the list at the back of the room it stopped altogether. In my opinion I think it might be viable long term if it just got some support from management but the current status quo is likely to continue if nothing changes.

We should all add our names to the list when we get in. That 5/10 Omaha game plays like a 25/50 and they bring 4 bullets each session.

But if people don't know the game is going you will never get enough of a critical mass. It really needs to be listed on the main board as opposed to the high limit board.

We can ask them and they'll usually cater to it.

I saw 5 people on the board at most. They said even the board is full they won't run it. We should set up a game

I'm headed out to PHX for 10 days later this month ... this looks like the place to play! Huge room. 29 tables last night on a Wednesday?!?!?

I'll probably stick to the 3/300 spread limit game. That will be a first but it looks like it plays pretty much like a typical 1/2 game. Don't recall the last time I had to bet more than $300 on a given street, haha.

Looks like we can get on the list ahead of time with the Bravo system? Worth getting whatever player card they have for 2-3 sessions? Are those $145 tournies worth playing? At that low of a buy in they probably rake the crap out of them.

You get like a 23 cent discount off of your food just for handing the waitress the card, so yes get it unless you are under cover.

vyken: Get the card which gives you $1/hr and buy the pot roast dinner during your 3rd session, imo. Damn good pot roast, iyam.

Do they run a scheduled 7 card stud game or any other odd games? I remember a few years ago I was railing a table and they were playing 3/6 7 card stud or something like that and someone said to me, "If you're interested, we always play at 9am on sundays" (or something like that). My memory is hazy as to the specifics but I remember they had some scheduled non-hold'em game that ran on a sunday morning.

Wow, a first post from someone who has had an account for 5.5 years!

Yeah, I play in that stud game from time to time while waiting for 8/16 or 20/40 to start since it usually has a seat. It's fun to play different games instead of sitting watching people stare at each other in the 2/3 game.

The players are friendly, and always the same ones obviously.

There are always 4/8 O8 games going along with 8/16 OE.

There used to be a 6/12 Stud 8/b game from time to time, but when they switched from 8/16 O8 to OE, that obviously killed that game from ever going.

I checked Bravo at 8:30am and the 3/6 stud game was running and by 2pm it was gone. I guess it's a bunch of OMCs that play in it?

I would assume that happens in every low limit game there. But with the stud game the player base is so small that once 4 or 5 people are gone the game breaks?
