Friday Started with 255 and they played through 11 levels, the 100- 1500/3000 limit and ended with 44 players on Friday somewhere between 5:30 and 6 oclock.
Saturday and Sunday will end at the same limit , # of players left in each day will likely be different.

Monday will start at 200- 2000/4000 for the remaining field

People don't consider BBJ rake? That's crazy talk. If you ever hit a jackpot, you can deduct that from your rake paid totals. But until then...seems like rake to me.

Every time I played a hand or was dealt a mid pocket pair, it seemed like Robert Goldfarb (I think I have the correct Robert) who was directly to my right showed up with a better hand.

AJ<KK folds to us in blinds, he limps I shove my 12bb's, fml gg & gla

Also had Nichoel Peppe moved to our table with a huge stack and aggressive style... lotsa fun. haha

Typical, she raised to 3K from EP at 400/800, I call with 77, player to my left fumbles his chips and instead of calling with three yellows he mistakenly throws out 2 yellows and a brown 5K. With there now being a raise, Nichoel goes all in instantly. I doubt she was ahead but I decided to lay down my pp. FML, ******s cause me to not even see a flop. sigh

Second: jackpot drop is *not* rake. Rake goes to the house, jackpot drop goes to the players. Again, if you want to do this kind of stat work, you absolutely need to understand the difference.

xcept it is no-flop-we-still-drop. Also they are taking 'maitenance fees' from the jp so it is partially rake. But it's only fair because their ancestors lost every war to ours.

Well she had lotsa chips and wasn't afraid to throw em around, for the few levels I lasted anyway.

Saw the Chainsaw, that was cool, he's friends with Robert... and I dunno why but I said hi to George Lind, he seems like a friendly dude, but I hate bothering people like that. Fun day!

Day two started with 326 and ended with 74.
319 needed on day 3 (Sunday) to reach the 900 for the added 100K.
Just under 200 registered at 7pm( ish ), satellites will be going (they've been spreading 5 at a time) until 6 a.m.

I have a witness that claims you walked into the room, clearly making you the greatest poker player to ever step foot in CAZ.

Good luck Monday.

Um, incorrect. We aren't discussing "the best nl hu cash player to ever walk into Casino Arizona". We're talking "The greatest player to walk into Casino Arizona"

And anyway, Phil Hellmuth has never been WSOP POY. They've only awarded it since 2004, and the list of winners is a veritable who's who of the poker world. Negreanu, Cunningham, Madsen, Schneider, Lindgren, Lissandro, Kassela (Or Mizrachi...We can only pray he represents the big name pros properly in November).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_S...er_of_the_year

I don't see Brad Helm (Or this durrrr guy you speak of) on that list.

I was using an analogy to show the absurdity of ur argument. Obv nobody is allowed to play hu nl in caz!

I should have replied earlier....

We played through the 200-2000/4000 level. Unless we replay a level...blinds will be 200-3000/6000.

Hmmm, i stand corrected. The information i relayed was directly from a TD on the phone, they must have had a long day and just mis-spoke

No updates on who won? Can't even find a news report, nothing on CAZ website... I suppose that means FT was full of unknowns... Or maybe it was all regs and they chopped it 10 ways and played a quick hand of chinese poker to see who got the trophy? lol

I went over to the casino tonite after this weekend left me itching for more... busted out of the tourney in 45 mins (continuing my "lol bad" play from this weekend).

So I decide to play some 3/6 cash since I'm there with nothing to do now.

First three hands at table I see 56o river trips, J6o river a boat and 37s catch their flush. On the 4th hand I get KK. Four play in a 3bet pot. Board is rainbow all low cards but not really connected and I raise the whole way. One folds, the other two players both run out of chips by the river bets. One has JJ, the other has AA (and he never raised the whole way knowing he was short).

I immediately get up from table, cash out and drive home, mumbling the whole way.

Can you tell I don't have the intestinal fortitude for this game? sigh

All I could think of was, "I can lose this easy at home, online, and I don't even have to wear any pants."

I'm a sick man, I know. LOL
