I don't see any real issues here. If we're scared of flush possibilities, then I'm inclined to bet more on flop.

A lot of times he's calling with KQ, KJ, 55, perhaps even AJ.

I would need more specific information than he's a fish (for example his preflop stats aren't that crazy) but I might just check-call the river. I don't see a lot is calling 3 barrels but you might pick up some bluffs - e.g. 1 heart hands that continued. He may also value-bet Kings if you check to him, confirming that you don't have the flush.

If you check you risk losing value if he checks back. you may aswell get it in. hes going to call AK , KQ , 55 , AJ , KJ ,. I don't think he would have just continued on the flop because he had one in his hand. I think hes hit a pair atleast on the flop to continue. I would have took the same line

imo betting>checking here, checking would be to induce a bluff, but we don't block any top pair combos here so I would play the same.
