Hi guys,

i've been searching the internet for a good 45m turbo guide. I found some and also a good one in this forum, but it's from 2008.. So what is a good up-to-date 45m turbo guide that adjusts to the games nowadays?

Thx!

YugiohPro has recently done a 45-man series for DeucesCracked.
It seems pretty good value although I didn't play a lot of 45-mans after watching it.

best is to play like 100 at yer buyin lvl.. then really analyze the hell out of it.

Make your own guide.

Yugioh has his 45man vids at DC , but he kind of gives up and starts adding 18s 180s and MTTs.

Not much of a guide really.

Moshman has some on poker strategy from 2013, but he makes some clearly bad plays and mistaken EV shove estimates and gets roasted from a few of the subscribers. He is just randomly reviewing a tourney and doesn't actually show the calc's behind what he does. He does in a few spots pull up NASH resources, but he drops the ball on alot of hands IMHO.

His wife Katie has 1 30$ 45man HH review.

TPE has old ones from pre black friday.

The reality is, poker changes every 6 months of so and new players from different countries bring new dynamics to the tables. Best is to play, analyze, adjust to the types of players you begin to recognize populating today's game.

IMO - 2008-2012 45man training vids won't help you much at all.

So figure it out yourself and post hands here.

The only big difference between 45s and 180s is the bubble. 45 man bubbles are all on one table and 180 man bubbles are on 4, so you can see all the players/stacks in 45 man bubbles and imo it leads to weaker players playing more conservatively on the bubble than in other formats.

I suggest checking sharkscope leaderboards to find the best players on your site (pokerstars ?) then load up their tables and make notes on their shoving/calling ranges.

Get yourself a copy of sngwiz and take the quizes for 45 mans so you can learn the basics.

45 mans do play similarly to 90 mans, 180 mans at the beginning and middle stages - your not too worried about ICM with 20 men left at 45man and your not worried about ICM with 60 left on the 180s but it all changes near the bubble
