Old cash grinder trying to remember how to play an mtt Old cash grinder trying to remember how to play an mtt

So I'm a long time live cash grinder and have been for years now, I used to play alot of mtt online, but not for years.
So I was bored today whilst the kids were asleep and I fired up the old pokerstars account and bought into a 180sng...... Min cash woohoo..

There were a couple of spots that came up, that I wasn't sure on, it's probably bread and butter for you guys, but I'm just catching up....

About 60 players left
Hero is Co with 22bb, utg+2 shoves for 2bb, hero has 44...should I be fold, calling or shoving here?
Button had about 6bb, sb had similar to hero, bb had me well covered....
Hero elected to flat and binked a set and proceeded to stack the sb, but is not convinced pre-flop flat is optimal.

30players left
Hero has 12bb effective folda to hero's button with ktss.... Hero shoves......standard?

Cheers

#2 is super standard
#1 is a whatever kind of spot - none of the 3 options is terrible - Id call on a passive table - fold if more aggro.

With the 44 I'd be looking to isolate for the most part, so would want to raise but not shove 22bb with two significant stacks in the blinds. I probably make a small raise, to a level that means if the button shoves and either of the blinds call - his shove is not counted as an underraise, which means I have all options available to me to close the action (if the blinds reraise then I'm probably letting it go / effectively closing the action anyway)

When I end up just against the shortstack(s) then great. When I'm playing a flop versus the blinds, if they look like they are just wanting to check it down then I am probably firing a bet on most flops - and am one and done unless I make my hand.

Hand 2 fine as played without ICM implications, but you're so close to the bubble that considering the state of mind of your opponents might make a small difference. It might still be right to shove but not for sure without all the info
