On the other site, being away of the country is not an excuse you should give for not comunicating on a regular bases with your backer, im sure in all those countries exists internet and a simple 5 minute email/text from time to time would enough.
Now, i can understand you fell unconfortable playing 3+ tables on a laptop even tho i know guys that play 6-9 tables confortably (havent done it myself tho) but even playing small sessions 2-3 tabling on a laptop on your breaks and/or whenever you get off your work while overseas is so much better than not playing at all, i know you guys didnt set up any monthly minimums regardign hands but that doesnt mean you cant play 200-500 hands 2-tabling on a laptop whenever you get off work, specially since you play STT and 18man which doesnt take much time for you to play 20-25 games even 2-tabling.
You guys need to re-evaluate the conditions of your staking deal before moving forward and make some commitments to each other, on your end to try and improve your comunications with him nowadays there are endless way to comunicate with people and commit to play more, i dont see why being overseas is an excuse for you NOT to load a small session (1-2 hours) when you get off work, is not like you work 24/7, playing small sessions everyday is better than spend 20-30+ days without playing a single hand, cheers and gl.
I was used to play 12-18 tables of cash and playing 2-3 tables had no point from my point of view... Also I would like to add that it was low traffic EU poker room in question and that in the peak time (when I had to work) it had like 6-8 tables and sometimes not even 4... So from my point of view it kinda didn't make sense to spend any time just to be able to play a couple of games at best

You owe him the $150 in your account. Not the other $150 you lost. It's a stake not a loan.
Edit: you previously chopped profits for 110 each? If so consider giving him 40 dollars if you think the friendship is worth it so he doesn't lose on the deal - but he's not entitled to it.
I was aware how the things work but after him saying that I owe him money and that he expect me to return him in cash I kinda got caught off guard and I wanted to double check it before getting back to him with any answer. The thing I wasn't sure about was "can he ask for makeup with a reason behind that I didn't play any hands in previous period?".
As for the chop it was €200 in question that we split 60-40 in my fav (€120-€80)
