Questions about situations in game. Questions about situations in game.

I was thinking about this situations that I have doubt about what is correct to do. I think I make mistakes in some of these situations.

1 - When I 3Bet a guy on position for example with QQ and flop comes with AXsXs, I prefer to check back too keep his range of bluffs, but When he bets for value I will loose more cheaps than IF bet small. (because I will not know if I am ahead or behind. (I usually call one street), IF he checks twice I try to get somevalue on turn or river, I think I can get more value on turn than on river.

2 - IF I am short on big blind like 16 BB, and I hold A8o,A9o a guy oppen from HJ and I don't know if I can shove him, I usually don't 3bet shove with A8o in this situation unless I have a read, but instead of 3betting I call from BB (That I think is a mistake) If I hit the flop I call his cbet If not I fold, But most of the time I will not hit the flop and fold. I think When I call from BB and fold I am loosing cheaps that I can use after with an additional fold equity, When I call and fold I will become short faster. How wide Can I call with 14,15,16 BB from BB? or maybe is just better 3bet shove or fold ?

3 - When I have a pocket pair on the beggining of sng, blinds are 10/20, 15/30, and I open from EP and a villain call me from BU or MP and I don't hit my setmine, the flops comes with an A. I usually try to cbet and take the cheaps, but I think I loose money doing it too because in the beginning people usually call you with a pair or A, and I cbet to check/fold on turn. I don't like to open with all pocket pair to play with a setmine I usually open from EP just with 66+ sometimes 77+ on blinds 10/20, I prefer to call from late position with small ones than open. is it good open with all ? what is the best wat to play it ? I've already seen players saying that he limps, but I don't know I think I don't like to limp.

4 - On the beggining of sng, in the past on blinds 10/20 15/30, I always 3bet with my AK, and I saw a guy saying that don't 3bet can be better and I stopped to 3bet with my AK on the beggining, villain never put you in AK when you hit and you can extract a lot of cheaps. What do you think about it ? I think it is being good.

I hope I have been able to explain myself. Waiting for comments

1 - when u do C-bet, you first need to check on some things. Board structure, villain's range, how many players are in hand, effective stacks, positions, C-bet size and so.... On flop with flush draw we can extract value from draws ofc, but also could expect raise/shove from agrro players. Delayed C-bet is ofc one of the options. Depends on players, it could be more even efficient cause I don't think they'll fold even PP's like 99-JJ which is in open-call range for most people. So, I don't think there's an strict answer "this is better" or "that is better", but all depends on villain/s in the hand.

2 - You should check on villain's stats. How much he push with those stack sizes, how much he open, and how much he fold vs 3bet/3bet-shove from the blinds. There's an answer

3 - In first levels, 10/20, 15/30, even 25/50 sometimes, I used to limp-call small pocket pairs, like 22-66, from first 3 or 4 positions. Cause with those pp's we always setminning, and it's cheaper to limp-call then to open-call, and open-fold is worst scenario I think.

4 - in multiway pot, and OOP, I also just calling with AKo on first levels. When I'm facing just one raiser, and I'm IP, I do 3bet cause I don't want to make multiway pot. I don't know is it correct, but that's the way I'm doing right now. YOu're right that almost nobody put's you on AK when you're just flat, but, there's almost 0% chance to play HU pot in that case, and then things are more complicated in post flop.

Hope it helps...

4 - it depends a lot where the original raise comes from, and who. The width of villain's range determines the width of your value raising range.
