i can see advantages to having 360 player starts at peak times, and 180 player starts at off times, but im unsure how you would implement different types for different types of anticipated volume (and a 360 might never fill late night, whereas you might wind up with 30 of them with 180 player starts cluttering the lobby nonstop at peak times



this isnt really a sng sugguestion per se, as what im sugguesting would not have the same intent as fulltilts fast filling 15 minutes of late reg on demand sngs, but rather to offer players the chance to build several more $11 mtts with $5000-$40000 prize pools throughout the day

this would i think be a good alternative to reintroducing $11 reg speed 180s as a way of offering low bi reg speed grinders an "outlet" to move up stakes and into multi table tournaments (which id guess is the eventual goal for many of them)

But are you sure that the turbo-lovers would leave for the 15 min regular?
There are 4 buy-ins for turbos at 180 man, but only one buy-in for regular 180 man.

But i guess poker stars has a good understanding of their customers and if there were a demand for lower 180regular buy-ins they already would exist

if all the regs stay and half of the randoms switch games to non turbo......

after listening to whats been said, i dont think any of these suggestion would affect liquitidy

- 500/1000 level in the 45's
- reg speed $10 45 and 180man (ten min blinds) and make the $6/45 reg speed a $4.5/45 to go along with the $4.5/180
- scrap $35/180s and make it a $10r (will run 24/7 and give more play)
- massive -1 to higher buyin hyper mttsngs
- sync breaks in 27mans
- Bring back $60/45s
- change $8/180 to a $7/180 to smooth out the buyins of the 180's for $2.5/180 players looking to move up

Will not happen. Firstly it seems unfair to all the other (MT)SNG grinders and they'll quickly start demanding the same for their games. Secondly, I don't see how this could have any positive effect on the games in regards of reg/fish ratio; quite the contrary effect will occur since...

...this simply does not compute if only 180s are affected. Lots of Gold-Platinum regs will start playing them because of the FPP value, and they'll play much more of them on average than a random recreational player who earns like 1k FPP per month (or even less in most cases I guess) and doesn't even care about "best value" as much as regs do.

Either make all SNG across the board (directly) accessible with FPP, or none at all. I'd prefer the former ldo.

How about introducing a BIG 180 and a BIG 45

- $60+ buyin
- only run on sundays (say for 24 hours after the pacific rim tournament starts)
- in main lobby
- is red
- can run feeder tournamant mttsng that pays must play tickets (for itm) and cash

sounds cool, but i run bad on sundays so i would usually lose 15-30 bis xD
