Re: *** OFFICIAL PokerStars MTTSNG Suggestion Thread ***

Surely there has to be some level of higher rebuy that wouldn't have liquidity problems/interfere with other games? If its around the 10-11 level it would get a bunch of MTT players for sure, I think it would get a bunch at 7ish as well. Theres lots of people who just play the rebuy 180s, and they would obviously add the higher ones too, probably without taking anything away. I think there is a gigantic demand for these, I've talked to tons of people and I haven't heard of anybody who wouldn't be interested in playing them.

New leaderboard for 45/90/180s looks very likely, got a survey email about one yesterday.

Oh yeah, I see what you mean now. I never check Tourney/All tbh, but I would have assumed that if they were under Regular, they would also be under All. My bad.

Obv 35/180s should be under Tourney/All, and in fact it probably makes even more sense to have 35s under the MTT umbrella than the 2.50s. There's always a bunch of scheduled MTTs in late reg for people who only want to buy in for a couple of dollars, but not necessarily for those who want something in the that borders on the midstakes range.

Re: *** OFFICIAL PokerStars MTTSNG Suggestion Thread ***

think we shud try to be realistic.
adding new regular 180 seems not so smart as the past showed they dont run as frequently :-/

adding leaderboards, a higher rebuy, and maybe adjusting the buyins to distribute a bit better (2,5-6-14-30 and maybe 50) seems like really realistic ideas.

those things dont effect the player pool too much etc. so really lookin forward if PS will be applying these ideas

Re: *** OFFICIAL PokerStars MTTSNG Suggestion Thread ***

Get the feeling that the only thing that will come from this thread is a leaderboard. Don't get me wrong, that will be great. But it isn't going to adress the issue of a nicely scaled 180man setup. I fear that no rebuy will be brought in and nothing in terms of the BI's will be altered either.

I take this back, this would kind of take away the beauty of 180's..

I took a look at the 180 turbo buy ins today and actually think they look fine, the increments are nice, but I think there is definitely going to be more room for larger 180's in the future, I'd like to see a 60 added now, in fact. Think of it as similar to the 300 18 man situation, it's not going to affect or change a lot, so it should be an automatic.

As others have suggested, the structure of the Turbo's could could be easily improved. A level in between 15-16 would be awesome. The structure doesn't seem to have any other flaws imo. The early stages are good, and I think this is the only bumpy part of the late game. I'll try to illustrate why.

Level SB BB Increase
12 500 1000
13 600 1200 20%
14 800 1600 33.3333%
15 1000 2000 25%
16 1500 3000 50%
17 2000 4000 33.333%

I think if we took a poll on these three structures below, C would be in dead last by a landslide.

A
1000/2000
1200/2400 20%
1500/3000 25%

B
1000/2000
1250/2500 25%
1500/3000 20%

C (Current structure)
1000/2000
1500/3000 50%

As others have pointed out, exclusive 180 man leader board would be phenomenal and imo is bit overdue. If you got this far, thanks for listening pstars, overall I think you guys are doing pretty will in the MTT sng department, there's nothing really I can bring to your attention at this moment that others haven't already.

Please experiment with a 36 player 1$ hyper 6 max SnG.

I think the main focus of improving MTT SNG's should revolve around the health of the most premier SNG's which I believe are the 180's. I had thought about a redistribution that could easily include step tickets the other day, but couldn't really finalize on any good numbers. Right now the increase is as follows.

2.50/8/15/35 / x ? / y ?

I think x would be 60, and y I'm not too sure, likely 100/109?

I think 2.5/7/ would be nice, but 27 doesn't really fit well.
2.5/7/15/27 i guess, but the current looks a lot nicer.

Overall I like stars current increments the best.

Ok I think I finally thought of a good idea no one has mentioned yet.

Ability to buy 180 man tickets in the VIP store. (Online Tournament Tickets)

Oh that would be awsome for all 180m turbo players!! Giving the 2,5s players some chances to shot on 8s and 15s and at the same time getting more non reg players on 8s and 15s field.

Re: *** OFFICIAL PokerStars MTTSNG Suggestion Thread ***

How about a cheaper buy-in for the regular 180 man sng?
A $2.20 buy-in would be good for those aiming to learn and move up, the current $4.50 demands a pretty high BR if you aim to be a regular.

I am not playing any 180mans atm, but i allways wonder since the old buy-ins why there were no 180 (regular) lower than $4.50?

IMO bad idea cause than the turbo 2,50 would lose a big % of the player pool

Re: *** OFFICIAL PokerStars MTTSNG Suggestion Thread ***

1 of the main thing now IMO are that the 180`s need more fish in m
there are so many regs playing them.

that vip store suggestion is a good example

not that there all good regs orso but the last 3 months it seems like at least twice as many regs as be4

and it would be awsome if you could comment on 180 leaderboards
