I added a bold red "NEW!" to the Type field of the $11 regular 180-man in the client yesterday. I'll leave that up for a few days. It ran fairly well yesterday from about 13:30 to the 17:00 cut-off time so I am going to extend that cut-off time by a couple of hours.

I am considering slightly changing the payouts for the $60 180-man and I would interested in hearing opinions on the idea.

Proposed Payouts

I think the new payouts look better, although the % for each position has to change slightly. I would probably advertise the $3000 1st prize in the Type field in the lobby, which would look better than advertising the current $2983.52 first prize. So is anyone concerned about the change in payout % required for the neat round numbers?

do it! looks better and the advertisement alone with 3k first prize should attract alot of players, all the regs probably play them anyways but I'm sure more recreational players would play aswell now which is always good for the games

good idea, should tweak all the payouts for all the mttsngs. same for 45 mans too. eg $192.26 for 1st in a $15/45 should be $200

Are you considering slight changes in the pay out structure btw 10º to 18º?

Its possible to have in the near future a btn that alowds us to have the chance to split the prize pool when heads up in 180 mans sngs, specialy the reg speed ones?

The red mark in the 11$ was anice idea but based in the feedback i had from several players the didnt even knew they existe cause most of them took of the reg speed from filters when 4.50 was the only option.
If i were you i would use that "red new mark" in the main mtt loby at least this weekend so people could be aware of them.

Just one more point. You guys should use some kind of CRM tools to manage your players database. Why are you not using that to put players in clusters based in poker variant preferences and then advertise your changes and news to those who really matter? Example: i just play sngs and mtts. When i log in a banner comes up with advertising the road tho the milestone hands...why do i care about that if i dont play cash games? I should be receiving information about new add sngs, mtts promotions and other stuff related to my consumer patterns, right?

I suggested at least a couple of times last year when sng changes happened we should have rounded payouts with the change left in the smallest payouts. I think it looks a lot better and having a headline rounded 1st prize is really good.

Round the $60 prizes and no other's? If you're going to round them you may aswell apply to all sng's surely. However I'd prefer something like:

15th-18th= $120
12th-15th= $140
10th-12th= $160
9th= $200
8th= $250
7th= $350
6th= $475
5th= $625
4th= $800
3rd= $1100
2nd= $1825
1st= $2800

And obviously do equivalent %'s for all other buy-ins. Would make reg's ICM mistakes even more catastrophic than they already are and ROI's would increase for everyone, especially fish.

Thanks for the 11 non-turbo, appreciated and they run fairly well with the "NEW" tag so it's cool. Maybe this as been adressed but no plan to put it on MTT lobby ?

I like the idea of slight increments for 10th-12th and 13th-15th, but Steve's numbers add up to $9,945 whereas yours only add up to $9,685, a $260 difference. But I like Steve's idea of three grand for first, exactly fifty times the buyin.

I'd suggest:

But yeh add that surplus to 1st and you've got nigh on $3k anyway. Both similar set ups, wouldn't mind your's or mine.

What has annoyed me though is the fact they're responding to every single hyper STT demand but despite the massive demand in here for a $8-$10 180 rebuy they're still refusing to budge. Wouldn't call it justice myself.

+1 It'd be good to have a post where Stars went through and responded to the many good ideas/suggestions ITT. So much stuff just getting ignored. I find it pretty frustrating and can't be the only one.

They have responded about the 180r a few times in here. It's just that response is baloney. Liquidity would NOT be hugely effected imo and the same rake can be charged to make up for any loss on the $35 bi side.

Yeah, agreed. The higher rebuy question hasn't really been answered. I'm sure they have their reasons, but 180s are tougher than ever at the moment with entire tables full of regs at times and it seems to me that splitting the player pool mightn't be such a bad thing.

There were also many other requests ITT which haven't been acknowledged like the make a deal button for ft's, automated initial rebuys and lots of others I can't remember at the moment!
