Re: *** Official MTTSNG quick checkup thread ***

Merci/Thanks ERRRRRRRRRR. What about this hand ? Got scared about MP2 calling range, he min-raised already with KK UTG+1 earlier. Even knowing that is it a clear all-in here ?
(By the way ERRRRRRRRRR, going to MTL casino sometimes ? Tried their 85$ tourney ? It's really a good pond)

    Poker Stars, $0.91 Buy-in (100/200 blinds) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 7 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #13284062

    MP2: 6,210 (31.1 bb)
    MP3: 1,235 (6.2 bb)
    Hero (CO): 3,435 (17.2 bb)
    BTN: 2,979 (14.9 bb)
    SB: 13,788 (68.9 bb)
    BB: 2,978 (14.9 bb)
    MP1: 3,345 (16.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with T T
    MP1 folds, MP2 calls 200, MP3 raises to 1,235 and is all-in, Hero ?

Do you have MP1 stats?! Seems like a fistpump shove if he's limp happy. Even if he's not I might prefer iso-shoving here than folding cuz the fact you saw him minraising his KK shows that he actually openraise his strong holdings.

No I haven't played any casino's tourney yet. I don't play much live but when I do I usualy play the small tourneys at Playground -_^

    Cheers

Well I thought also that it was a clear shove XMenCypher. I just chickened but ERRRRRRRRRR is right about it, there is a different between limping and minraising his strong holdings. He actually called with 84 (lol) and MP3 had KQo.

I should try not to chicken if the guy has shown some tricks. But I'm slowly learning the 45/90 SNG.

just put the lobby at the bottom of your screen so that only the top bar is visible

Hey, after we got our new born baby i dont really have the time to play mtt's anymore, but kinda fell in love with the 18 man turbo sng's.

Bankrollwise it needs less then mtts obv, but just wanting to know what regulars apply around. Because most i find is jennifear links which i find a bit nitty

Lets take for exp the 7$ 15$ 30$ on Stars, which roll would u apply to start those different levels. Just to check up with u regulars where to start

i just saw that on 9 lvl of blinds 400/200 antes are 50, its bigger when ussual and on blinds 8 lvl 300/150 only 25, should we wider our ranges on blinds 400/200 and tighter on 300/150 ? saying wider our range i mean just +1, 2 push more cards of our range as ussual , what u think about this ?

Good observation, and yeah you should. The greater the ratio of the antes to the blinds, the wider your ranges should be. This is one of the fundamental disadvantages of using your stack size in terms of BB's to guide your play, rather than say your M ratio which accounts for the size of the antes.

I am confident that anyone with a large sample size that hasn't considered the ante to blind ratio will notice a divergence in the amount per hand they've won at 200/400 (1/4 ante to SB ratio) vs say 150/300 or 300/600 (1/6 ante to SB ratio).

Some freeroll rebuy on stars. All players have leaks worse then mine. Villan was limping 90% of hands played. I sure this 3x is strong maybe top 10%. So am i still happy to get it in here. I think its ok but i would like to see if theres anything could of done differently
