I was struggling with the call because of the 4-way and this being the second round. KK is still such a strong hand PF I thought I had to GII.

Yes, certainly at this level. Someone might have had AA but the trash the others would have had shows why this is a call. As long as you don't have a King blocked then your equity isn't that bad against say AA, AJ, QQ, 18 percent, with 10 percent if there is a blocker like AA, AK, QQ. Against AK, AK, QQ you have 57 percent and you need 21 percent to make the call so it's really a call at higher levels too.

It's something like a quarter-pot, so you can see the fantastic price you're giving everyone. All you're doing is bloating the pot. The most important thing for you to take away from this thread is about how to improve your 3bets whatever you're holding, and forget the fact that you happen to have KK on this occasion.

Seriously, don't ever try to pull this kind of stupid move again, not with any hand.


TBH, given that OR made it 5x and two spazzy fish have just called, there's already 16.5bb in there before we do anything, so we could just as well move all in right now, and still expect to get called in at least one or two places. Second hand of a $0.50 buyin, I'm not convinced that trying to get cute with a 3b/call line is going to be much better here than a simple shove.


Also, don't be results oriented — you had KK, so if someone had AA then get over it, and if someone sucked out, get over that too.

I'd be making the 3bet around 18BB and stacking off, at 50c level as played call.
