Hi,

Played on tablet so no HH. Blinds are 4/8k. Play with 3 mates over a few beers etc... they play far less than me and got slammed by them for shoving this hand.

BTN - 55,000
SB (hero) - 125,000
BB - 90,000

So btn folds, I am dealt 74dd. I have since checked on icmizer, Nash would say this is an ATC shove (mainly because BB has to call so tight for icm reasons). Villain has to call more than 28% to make this -ev.

Interested what you guys think is best line? I think it's:
Shove>raise/fold>limp/stab>fold

Shove if vilain is a "reg-grinder" , limp or mr/fold if no info or fish.

Jam.

It doesn't matter if it's a rec. They tend to be less positionally aware and in any case simply not calling 11BBs for their tournament life with 28% of hands just because its blind versus blind.

Ask your mates what hands they would call from the BB position and look up what percentage ranges they fall into.

Only because pushing is profitable, doesnt mean limp/stab or minraise isnt more profitable.

With that said, readless Id go for minraise.

That's why I'm asking what order do you think is best?

making an openfold here to show that you don't push 100% in a spot where you should push 100% gives you some fold equity vs regs, but vs recs it's way better to limp stab. shoving may be +EV, but is a pain the ass variance wise

I always feel it's higher variance to play postflop and end up in a situation where both players have hands they don't want to fold.

When we have the chip advantage we can exert more pressure postflop though as every further bet is cheaper for us than it is for him.
