Whats ur opinion on edge? Which one is more correct for 180s?

5bb 10bb 15bb
1. 0% 5% 5%
2. 0% 5% 10%
3. 5% 5% 5%
4. 5% 10% 10%
5. 5% 10% 15%
6. 10% 10% 10%
(% of stack size)

I have noticed that average regs push Nash(too ligh), good regs push ~5% edge and very best regs are much tighter than average 180s field.

If you are reviewing late phase of 180s with less han 60 remaining I recommend to perform calculations in ICM mode.

In ICM mode you are talking about % of total prize pool, not useless metric of % of stack in chips. In MTTs bubble factor is always greater than 1, or won chips are always worth less than lost. So doing chip EV based review misses the whole essense of MTT - payout structure.

Once you are in ICM mode you will notice that 0% value makes the most sense. You can switch the program to dollar $EV mode and see how much each action is worth in dollars so you can better relate to those values. Note that MTT consists of many hands, so making even 0.01% of prize pool in 1 hand is a good result generally.

In early stage of MTT you are limited to Chip EV calculations, and I don't know the right answer of your question for early phase. Would like to hear what others think.

Ty for advice. ICM makes sence and ranges are a lot tighter.

But i think small edge spots are not optimal. Giving up small edge might lead you to bigger profit spots and you are having more tables running - more chance on better profit spots because u didnt bust on small or no profit spots.

And again i have no idea for what edges to look with ICM calculation.
Giving up small edge/profit spots with cEV made perfect sence now not sure about ICM.
