Put it this way: if your information was PERFECT that he only jams pairs here then it would still only be a marginally bad call. You add only a couple unpaired combos and it starts to be a pretty bad fold. We just don't have perfect information to make soul reads like that on some unknown, 75bb effective open jamming fish in a .25c game.

+1

If it's a .25cent game surely you should be able to out play a lot of the opposition, rather than be guessing at such marginal spots as this so early just my .25cents :-)

True but I can just reregister and outplay some other opposition.

au4all's post is interesting. While it isn't a reason to play this particular AKs hand differently, I must say I am tempted to open jam AA for 75 BBs next time and see who levels themselves into calling. I will report back.

If I'm playing a $1-$5 bi and get AA first hand I always jam.

Where is that gorgeous quote from years ago when you need it... something along the lines of:

The players who might be good enough to justify passing on small edges in turbos don't, and those that aren't do.

Edit: That isn't a dig at anyone saying fold ITT, just to highlight that small edges in turbos are what we look for.

Ha yeah you can open jam AA and get called by the 8 combos of AK (while risking that the guy with AK is one of the dudes in this thread who is bad enough to fold it), OR you could open AA to a normal size and get called by 15% of hands from every position and win way more money on average. I guess it's up to you though.

You don't think you are getting called by Kings or Queens?

^ they pay you off when you go to the streets almost always anyway, so kinda a wash for that argument.

Gotta let fish see 3 and find a way to throw it all with their trashier hands IMO, but i see the merit in open shove.
