Stacksize is really akward here and 77 is just that "boarderline" hand to do something. Shove is def inexploitable, but are we really shoving AA-TT, AK this deep as well? Our shoving range is really face up to medium strength hands. I would limp behind. Odds for setmining are fine.
Call >> shove >>>>>> raise
Our hand has a Sklansky-Chubkov ranking of 67.
That means that even if villains know our exact hand and can design a custom calling range against it (e.g. including JTs but not AKo), this is an unexploitable push up to 50BBs with antes (67 x 1.5 for antes *, divided by 2 for there being 2 players remaining). So, we don't even need the protection of the higher pairs here (as in Nash where to be unexploitable we assume they have to design a range that profits on average against all the better hands too). Although we are face up it's just really hard for them to have AA-88 very often - we are flipping against the few other hands that can profitably call but most of the time we just add another 11% to our stack. 77 isn't medium strength all in preflop, it's very strong.
In reality they don't lay down AKo here and we will often get the money in as a 6-4 favourite.
