I would just shove preflop over the limp given that you've only got 15BB.

As played I'd bet much smaller on the flop but I'm not folding now.

Id shove too. But If youre going to iso vs a limper with deeper stacks I would go for 3x 3.5 at this stage.

Yeah clear shove pre. BTW, play of V was horrible. If you get in a similar situation like him. Don't limp/call (to nonshove) /w 88. You are basically set mining at that point. Open and call a jam. Taking 88 to the flop /w this little blinds is asking for problems.
