 180turbo, shove pre/call now? 180turbo, shove pre/call now?

I minraised here because I felt I had a better chance of some shorty 3bet jamming worse than getting called by worse if I jammed. Didn't expect utg+1 to flat and then the bigstack to jam. He's like 30/30 over 10, has a goldstar. Also previous hand I wrote something in chat about folding 78 pre when the flop came 69T, just a passing comment- and he said ''dont be results oriented'' so obv he isnt a drooler.

Should just jam pre here right? And what do I do now?

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $600(BB) Ante=$50. Poker Stars
SB ($3,280)
BB ($10,306)
Hero ($8,731)
UTG+1 ($13,130)
UTG+2 ($645)
CO ($17,025)
BTN ($3,086)

Dealt to Hero A Q

Hero raises to $1,200, UTG+1 calls $1,200, fold, CO raises to $16,975 (AI), fold, fold, fold, Hero ????

Lol.

Not folding here. Think I like a r/c better than an open shove. He's probably also wider than if UTG+1 wasn't in the hand (viewed as dead money).

I'm thinking this call is somewhere between smirk and fistpump.

^^yeah I just felt like typing it, im not a results oriented fish who complains when they would've flopped trips with their 83o!!!

Dont relate VIP Status of a villain with his game, that only tells u he plays lots of hands and/or generates lots of rake for the site...I have seen Platinum Stars with losses around $20k.

When i have stacks behind me that might flat me open shoving its a better option, specially if after opening you´re even thinking on calling the big stack 3bet shove with a hand like AQo it tells me u didnt plan ahead, u just open for open..If you´´re not willing to call a 3bet shove then its better to open jam yourself because by shoving you´re making hands that might 3bet shove/call and out play you post flop out of position to fold...For instance, what would you do if big stack flat call u and u missed the flop? raise/call? raise/fold? check/call? check/fold...All those lines are very marginal with your stack size, open shoving its an unexploitable play and the most optimal play from early position with your stack size...If you were in middle/late position then yeah, 2x-2.5x it would be more optimal, less people behind u that might call you increasing the chances that u will have position post flop.

I open shove this every time. As played folding is horrific.

14.5 bbs effective? Unless villain is like 4/4 I'm r/c all day.

Doesnt matter, majority of the table have less than 10 bbs and call lightish a lot, fair amount of value in the blinds.

You also cant say villain is 4/4 so its a raise call, we dont know who villain is going to be at the time of action.

Being a turbo, I'm more inclined to shove pre vs opening. As played, the CO is shoving 99+,AK+ which you're 32.6% against and need to 37.6% to BE. Do you want to gamble?

By opening, the only 2 bad outcomes is if UTG+1 raise or CO raise in which case you have to fold barring specific reads. In this case, it's double whammy since UTG+1 flatted making CO's range really tight and you can definitely exclude AQo and 88 from his range.

I actually think a reg squeezing here would probably be just as wide if not wider than without a flatter. UTG+1 folds so so often here

this hand is an ez shove pre.

as played i still call but this particular spot its a level to minraise with this hands since your prolly still calling any all in.

yeah 14.5 bbs, imagine this scenario: Co calls we dont hit flop which is K high or J high... we avoid this spots by shoving it pre
