, 45 man - ATs in BB to a loose player's raise and a call , 45 man - ATs in BB to a loose player's raise and a call

I have ATs in the BB, with blinds at 40/80. My stack isn't very big with just over 1,000 chips. 3x raise from a loose guy in early position followed by a call late from a guy with a 50% VPIP. Is this a shove spot? A call spot? I'm guessing it's not a fold spot as I could be dominated by AK, AQ or AJ but with the loose VPIPs I am guessing it's worth a call.

What do you guys think??

People will disagree but this is a fold. You are not strong enough to shove on MP - his stats don't mean much yet.

Yes, you have great pot odds to see a flop with maybe 30% equity against him but that's no use when you don't know what your outs are. This time it was the T - it could also have been the A. It's really hard to flop better than a bluffcatcher here.

Ya, I've gone big on some top pair, T or J kicker hands lately and gotten burned, so that A isn't necessarily and out for me.

i can't see why ATs is not a shove vs loose guy and a calling station. Seems like a shove to me. There is something to be said about the fact that he 3x, but in game, im assuming he's a loose fish and that we have great fEQ against both of them

Well it depends what range we think villain is opening into 6 players. He might not be positionally aware at all of course, which would change things. I just think we get called off a lot by hands that dominate us.

yes, but we gain millions of chips in the longrun when they both fold. Also, when we get called we still can bink 30% of a time or so

I agree with wanderer. Those spots were trouble for me too, but I think call is even better with T9s, J9s, JTs, then with ATs. ATs is easy 3bet shove for me.
