I'm not shoving here since we got eff. 32bb

w/ a recreational player in the BB I can see me calling here to get to play a hand w/ him postflop. Otherwise I'm just folding.

This kind of an interesting spot. We are covered by BB so this is probably close to a fold.
Personally dont like a call as BB will have odds to flat and then we are oop with a likely flop of overcards. We will struggle to realise our equity and will leave us with various tricky run outs.
3bet to say 7bb doesnt really smell right either as we lose the fe impact on CO of a shove.
So I probably rip this in but it is very marginal.

in this scenario i would look to my stack. How is my stack on the tournament if i loss a shove against him. If i am only average or a litte under average, when i loss this hand, i shove here for sure. 3bet is bad, because Fold Equity, and a call gives bb good odds to call. Shove or fold pre i would say. The other looking is 13/10 player, is a little nitty from our opponent. It is a hard decision with his stack, regs shove there wit pairs, good broadways. But he isnt a reg, the miniraise could be a trap, i dont know......

there is no option other than just calling, shoving and folding are both bad, this is a textbook set mining opportunity.

20bb effective? Really? I dont see how setmining is "textbook" and a 20bb resteal shove vs a CO open is "bad", please explain with numbers.
