Villain is 24/20 over 71 hands, and I've been pretty active on this table

I hate this as a 3Bet/fold. This is too good to bluff, so if you're going to fold to a shove, don't 3Bet and see a flop.

In general I'd be OK with 3Bet/GII vs someone who's not a nit like villain seems to be here. Also if you've been active, that gives you all the more reason to call this off as people might be shoving lighter vs you.

Yeah I would sometimes especially vs tighter villains that won't get it in with stuff like TT or AQ. We don't have to play for a set mine and can withstand a couple of barrels on a lot of flops/turns

you can do a lot of things in this spot. Shoving seems fine, representing AK, and try to get hero calls from med pockets. Flatting is fine as well. 3bet to 900 is also fine. But 3bet/fold seems the only option which is not good.Your hand certainly has enough equity vs his shoving range. So just call his shove if you 3bet.
