$3.50r, shoving range from MP (13bb effective)

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/po...%2F13692632%2F

What range can we shove here?
Sorry for the link to the hand instead of the HH, for some reason the HH converter won't let me convert it right into the thread.

It's pretty thin, but should be +cEV at most tables... couldn't get much wider.

I'd probably pass though if I spotted a couple of thin calling regs behind.

NH mate.

Re: $3.50r, shoving range from MP (13bb effective)

Ya seemed pretty thin but wasn't too sure, as far as I know I can't remember there being many regs to act, my range is pretty over repped anyway here so I think their calling ranges should be someway tight, Q9s is going to have great equity vs their calling ranges.

Btw, does anyone have an ideas why the converter didn't work?
I clicked 'Hand history converter' pasted in the raw HH directly from pokerstars clicked convert but nothing happens.
Ideas? This is prolly the wrong place to ask this sorry!

Re: $3.50r, shoving range from MP (13bb effective)

My shove range would be approximately:

22+ A8s+ A5s-A4s ATo+ K9s+ KJo+ Q9s+ QJo J9s+ T9s

So IMO 88 is a snap shove here.

I'm also a newb with posting hhs....How did you post it to look like the above?

Re: $3.50r, shoving range from MP (13bb effective)

I think another factor in shoving this hand is your image at the table. If you have been opening or shoving quite a few hands I might let this go if people are starting to play back and seem to be getting impatient. If you have a tight image then I like the shove more. I like a shove most of the time, but depending on table dynamics (like aliquantum said if theres a couple of regs that call light or your image isn't great) I might fold.

I agree the table dynamics are important as well. If you haven't shoved in a while Q9s is an easy shove but if you've shoved 2 or 3 hands in a row I'd fold.

yeah Q9s is pretty sexy so I would shove. Unless my image is really bad

88 in the link that becomes Q9s by the second post. Lucky you have one of my favourite 2p2 handles

NH though. Would shove, like you said its pretty vs calling ranges. Gets us paid when we throw an AQ in there etc etc

Nice spot imo, though, as said above, if you have a reg behind you - one of the 10-12bbs guys, be prepared to get called slightly lighter. But Q9s performs good, really like that shove..Reminds me that I should watch out for these spots more, thanks
