I decided to peel in the BB here but I'm super unsure.

I'd really appreciate some insight on what should I be thinking about in these spots.

PokerStars - $3.19+$0.31|800/1600 Ante 75 NL - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 12.13 BB (VPIP: 30.87, PFR: 28.06, 3Bet Preflop: 19.61, Hands: 153)
CO: 9.05 BB (VPIP: 18.93, PFR: 17.81, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 169)
BTN: 5.72 BB (VPIP: 21.43, PFR: 22.58, 3Bet Preflop: 8.33, Hands: 44)
SB: 7.4 BB (VPIP: 13.64, PFR: 8.57, 3Bet Preflop: 9.09, Hands: 45)
Hero (BB): 7.9 BB

5 players post ante of 0.05 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.73 BB) Hero has J Q

UTG raises to 2 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 1 BB

Flop: (4.73 BB, 2 players) 8 8 8
Hero checks, UTG bets 2.13 BB, fold

UTG wins 4.73 BB

Peel is fine with those odds. It's ok to basically play fit or fold against UTG here.

You could also jam maybe but it's close.

I'm never jamming here, pretty sure UTG will snap with most of the cards he opens from UTG with that board

I mean jam pre - assuming he's as loose as his stats.

utg would likely call atc with odds.. has to win only 1/3 times,,, think stop and go is way more profitable in this situation
