ok line?
What about betting pot instead of shoving leaves just 3.5 bb behind so im pretty screwed if he calls as i have to shove my 3.5bb if i miss river and hope to fold out a missed drawer. I did it in game to try and make my hand look stronger and im not semi bluff shoving the drawers which indeed i am. Is just shoving turn better?

I like it. Not much difference between jamming and PSB IMHO but you are right it does look more of a value bet rather than semi-bluff jam.

I would have check/folded the turn, maybe called a small bet. but going all in is not the play i would choose considering i missed the turn.

not a complete miss though we picked up 6% more equity then a complete brick.

as you say you would check fold the turn i assume you wouldnt c/r the flop?

My line is based on a fairly tight image. so i can get more Fe then some others would in some spots.

how would you of played it?

personally i would just flat his bet. nothing wrong with the c/r though. as played i would bet less on turn to make it look stronger

I don't think, that raising the flop is a mistake. He can min bet there with pritty much everything.

Betting 3.5-4bb would be my choice of play

Surely doing this puts us in a worse spot ? He can then call a lot lighter meaning we have to hit on the river to take this down because what we have left behind is not going to make him fold river.

Like the line Hero has taken here tbh especially given tight image.

maybe you're right when i think about it it is a good play. my first option of a c/f is also worse than this.

i like 5.5/6 with a range that includes 2nd pair and Broadway diamond blockers. That erosion adds up.

What is meant by "that erosion adds up"?

It's such a thin sliver of equity saving but...

If you have Kd8x/Q3hh/etc stuff (because checking blind is fun) in this spot, leading out turns with good opportunity to hold/improve gets slightly better if you have blockers.

Qh6h I'd double-barrel prob.
