Hi.
BTN is a random. SB is one of the most profitable 45ers this year and I've never seen anything except solid play from him.
When he leads, am I toast straight away? Is it ridiculous to raise-fold and try to get it in with BTN only?

you can do anything but i dont like stackoff, reg's range are sets, very rarely TT-JJ

i would prefer raise 285/f or call and reev turn (mostly fold turn)

call SB bet otf....fold to repop from btn or sb youre beat here like 90%

This imo. Even if he has TT-JJ in his range here, you lose control of the hand if you flat and have to fold if he decides to fire again on turn.

I think raising is your worst option here. Given your read i would be tempted to fold here just because his range is very heavy with sets.

Its fine to get it in vs randoms but vs a reg id probably call the flop ingame but its probably a fold.

If you raise id make it a lot smaller and definitely fold when the button reraises

Flatting's by far the best option imo. If button then raised and reg got out we can reshove on button but if reg sticks around to fish's raise it's an easy get out.

Thanks everyone. I recognise that I made the worst decision possible, I simply pressed the raise button without really thinking at the time. And for everyone's information, I don't fold overpairs to a single bet

Also is QQ=AA here? Do we take the same line or are there enough times where the reg flats QQ-AA so that the situation is competely different and AA becomes much better?

your hand is very face up the way you played it. Huge raise pre, huge raise to a snug player's lead. Raise less pre but more importantly raise less OTF. You are rarely good here given your raise sizing otf and action afterwards.
