Hey guys. MP was playing his stack size a lot and i suspect that was the case this time too. Is shoving an option here? If he would have an Ace I don't think he would bet here. I can't think of a card he could be scared of hitting a turn and by checking he would just give one of use rope to hang themselves. I think that betting acomplishes nothing for him or am I wrong(assuming he has an ace)? I was contemplating shoving here for a second but then I noticed that a player busted on the other table so we were on a FT already and also there were 2 ppl to act still so i decided to fold. What do you think?

Shove preflop. Overlimping such a strong hand against someone with a wide range pre is a disaster. If you feel very confident in your postflop game even with shallow stacks you can raise like 965 or something.

you can certainly not just fold the flop now, calling and seeing a turn is definitely the best option.

I think you should have shoved pre against a loose table bully.

As played, MP's move looks pretty standard: limp, check who else will do the same, then take a stab at the pot and see if he can take it. Again as played, I would consider trying a float, call his flop bet, fold to turn bet or shove against his turn check. But do not try this without at least 15-16 BBs in order not to lose your fold equity at the end of hand.
