I raise/folded against this guy BvB few hands earlier when we were 4handed. He is pretty solid winning player and I think he is on tighter side.

I know that once he is R/F in this spots with like 20-25% of hands and calling with about 6-9% its profitable shove, I was just wondering if he is doing this with only hands like QJs, A8o etc. or he is just shoving those and raising here only monsters to induce anything. Although, because of the short tight-passive player he should be here more aware of his and mine stack.

    hey, it's $2,5. i'm neverever folding here

Have you seen him open jam >13bb before? If you have I'd be more inclined to weight his range towards monsters.

Probably never folding here anyway though, losing with AJo 3handed for nearly 14bb seems like a cooler to me

this is not a resteal but a value shove. He might not raise fold the shorty, but will raise fold to you most of the times.
3 handed, people still try to win pots without risking their stack, even on 13bb stack

+1, 3handed against a big stack opening range AJo its a monster, this is a must re-shove spot and not as a bluff but for value, villain wont call u that often in that spot.

good regs can induce with A9...
    08-11-2011 , 07:21 PM
Well I am not sure if this guy will induce and than call pretty light in that spots. Sometimes its just to hard not to be result oriented is such moments...

The short stack also tightens his calling range a bit so shoving here is even better.

Wager all of your betting discs and think no more about it

3-handed, with one 7 BB stack, being 14 BB, if he's a competent reg and tries to steal, he can raise/fold easily. It doesn't neccesarily need to be induce and we have no reasons to be suspicious about it. Ship it and nh.
