going all in with QQ? going all in with QQ?

one guy was sort of on tilt because he wasn't hitting the flop and so was I because of a different reason. People are known for calling off their entire stack at this low stakes undergound poker place during tourneys often so I went all in with QQ at the second level which was 100-200 and I had about 18k down from 25k. One guy called which happens often at this place which is why I went all in, and I lost to KJ off. Correct move or not. It was a turbo tourney

Not sure how to evaluate given the lack of information about the situation. Would need more on position, villain, stack sizes and how the games play at this place.

he had about the same stack as me and he was behind me and I was in middle position and he in late position. Most of the people folded to me and there was only 6-7 people

I think this is positive EV in small stakes tournaments. You have to win flips to win tournaments, yes less critica in early stages but if you believe (and I do) that people will call off with a wide range here and range you crush or flip against then it's a good strategy

not sure how to comment. Do you hate playing poker? Did you have an argument with the guy about what a sicko you are to get it in good with Ladies to just get busted by jack-king off??

but seriously, this isn't poker and it doesn't belong here, try BBV

I just noticed this guy was on tilt because he bet 5k(second level with blinds at 100-200) with 5-3off and he previously said he wasn't hitting the flop. I figured he was on tilt and so was I(a little because I just learned you have to show your card if requested and the next hand some old guy requested to see my cards. I wasn't used to getting looked up but now "I'm used to it" since i did a ton of research and learned they are allowed to look up your hand.) but since "people often call off their entire stack with medium strength hands" in this under gound, low stakes, poker tourneys and they call my raise no matter what the raise i thought well if there is going to be at least on guy who calls my all-in and that one guy was on tilt and I have at about 70% chance of winning against medium cards like AT or KJ might as well go all-in and sure enough the guy on tilt called just as I thought but I got unlucky. My plan was good, I just just unlucky. If I would of doubled up I would of been the biggest stack and in good position to win it all. I believe one reason pros don't go all in is because no one would call but in this case there is at least one guy who calls at the place I go so I think it was profitable
