I am a begginer at 2.50 180. and his move looks like a steal to me. I know now my call is bad and i should have a tighter range of 66+ AJ+

giving villain a 26% range which is totally reasonable the call is worth almost a whole BB. which is amazing. likely calling off A7o aswell and A3/4s, KJo,KTs likely even QJs. roddream that range is WAYYYY too tight to call, even 33s are a good call here

depending on villain is the better assumption.Lots of steals Lp, range wide of call, low stealing Lp, tight range, and u Must look at the stacksizes to , not assuming he is very light and give a random range. Some hand ranges programs say 99+ AQ +.

Unless you have several hundred hands on villain the stats are relatively meaningless, sure you can take them into account but at 33 hands any assumptions you draw are very likely super skewed. What's more important is I guess what people call population tendatencies (on avg what range does unknown villain shove here). The range I give the villain is exactly that. To be safe you could knock off a few of the weakest hands in the range I said to call with and you'd be good for sure.

When your looking at hand ranges your not thinking he's stealing or he's tight. The only thing that matters is what is he shoving and what is +Chipev to call with. Vice versa as well when you shove if it's +chipev you take the spot and not I'm going to steal now.

Also programs can give you all sorts of ranges based on the ranges you input. So if you input a range that's too tight it will give you a calling range that too tight.

Hope this helps

yea , helps a lot and i think the calling range is 22+, A2s+, a7 o, kq+ or something like that
