Re: $2 180 FT

what does his vpip/pfr/steal% look like? provided he is reasonably aggro i think this is a pretty good spot for a 3bet shove. the previous hand lets us know that he is prepared to 2x/fold a stack <15bbs, and, if we're lucky, the 3x/call hand might suggest that he is inclined to raise bigger with his premiums.

Re: $2 180 FT

at first i was thinking shove because you definitely compete with his range, since he seems to be opening a good amount....after closer inspection of the stacks i think you should just fold and find a better spot

i just think theres no reason to take such a risk when the stacks are so close and hero has 4 BB's more than the person in third....i just think why take a chance shoving here and getting 12% of the price pool when you can shove a better hand in a better spot and get 20% or 30%

cause this hand makes me chipleader if folded, and then have pretty easy game with that guy that has half the chips of us big stacks.
That is my reason behind this push.

cEV its highly profitable but ICM wise its kind of marginal leaning more toward the folding part.
Agree to what Vandammm says, the push overall its kind of marginal considering the edge we´re getting from the play in comparission to the risk we´re taking, 17bb in a 3 handed FT its a gold stack, no need to gamble in this spot especially if you hand an edge over them
