Depends on the other player. Against unknowns and fish i would get it in. If i have a Read that the other player is a standard reg i would never shove it preflop with AK in the 10/20 and 15/30 Level.
We can also play Smallball approach early and just call a 3bet because the 3bet Ranges of most players are very narrow at the 2.5/180. We dont gain much chips by getting it in if we compare it to the amount of chips we can win in mid and lategame .

You assume it's always a flip. It's not. It's an edge. AK is crushing fish ranges, especially on weekends.

The low bust rate comes from a tighter hand selection, especially with action in front, and rarely playing without initiative.

They also stack off less on flops in marginal spots or in multiway pots.
