2/180: 78s from CO openshove for 10BB?

Acc. to Nash equilibrium 87s is the bottom of 31%-ish range to openshove here. However, I feel a little nitty and would shove sth like QJs, ATo, 44+... Behind me on the BU is a reg who runs 19/17 with 10% 3-bet over 218 hands. BB and SB are randoms with almost no history (less than 40 hands) but acc. to their stats they should not call light (prolly less than 10%) My image is taggish. I won 2 hands after pre allin showing quality hands and scooped the blinds with open shoves 2-3 times as well from early and middle position.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $1,600(BB) Replayer
SB ($11,751)
BB ($17,952)
UTG ($24,741)
UTG+1 ($3,820)
UTG+2 ($38,454)
Hero ($15,541)
BTN ($21,484)

Dealt to Hero 7 8

fold, UTG+1 raises to $3,670 (AI), fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls $2,070

FLOP ($9,190) 9 8 6

TURN ($9,190) 9 8 6 2

RIVER ($9,190) 9 8 6 2 T

Is a call an open shove a better option instead of folding?

Yes, actually I sent the hand to Nash calc after choosing UTG+1 fold instead of push. My question was actually whether we can openshove if it's folded to us. Sorry for the misunderstanding, my fault. Btw, I am totally agreed with Lindberg789.

If folded to you, a shove is a great play. However, arriving at your answer just through a nash =ibrium analysis won't help very much as it only shows you what is breakeven if opponents play "perfectly." I don't know about you, but breaking even isn't too appealing in poker.

Hope this helps take your mind to a new place.

Yeah, I understand that Nash is applicable opnly if both opponents play optimally. and to play optimally does not mean to play profitably because our opponents may call too wide/tight. In that sense I could assume that villains behind me are on the tighter side based on HUD stats. In that case 78s should be a shove, if we follow the logic.

I still struggle with adjusting my range in such spots I guess I need more practice. :-) I will catch up soon
